This will hopefully be starting tomorrow night now so stay tuned!
EXCLUSIVE: Pretty much all main characters make the cut apart from Ginny Weasley, not bad in the books but a total wet blanket in the films and she had about -1000 chemistry with Harry Sorry for any Ginny fans out there... This post has been edited by Josh.: 28th September 2016, 09:38 PM |

50. Vincent Crabbe - And so the first out of my list is Vincent Crabbe of Slytherin house. Obviously a very dislikeable character but one that is a lot of fun, the actor played the role pretty well so it was good seeing him get consequences later on in the films. Unfortunately, the actor then ended up in prison and got replaced by Blaise Zabini who barely spoke and was a bit rubbish really. I think it would have been much better if we kept Crabbe really but at least we kept the even better Goyle so yay. 49. Angelina Johnson - Far from one of the main characters but one I've always taken a liking to in the books and the films. She just seems really nice and I love that she ends up becoming part of the Weasley family through marrying George later in life. I also really liked her in the Quidditch sequences in the first film, it's a shame we never got many more of those in the future films and also the actress changed in the fourth film to make her look more Fred and George's ago too which is a bit of a shame as I liked her in PS. 48. Yaxley - Probably the only minor death eater that really made an impact on me from the films alone. A few pop up quickly such as Dolohov and Rowle but I think Yaxley's scenes stood out a lot more in Deathly Hallows Part 1. The portrayal by Peter Mullan was suitably scary, made even more scary by the fact he had power through the means of the ministry. I love the moment in the film where he realises that Harry is in the Ministry of Magic headquarters and starts chasing them to the fireplaces. 47. Petunia Dursley - The one Dursley to make the list here! Vernon and Dudley are just too insufferable to even like as evil characters but there's something about Petunia that makes me feel a bit sorry for her. It's a shame the scene of the gif I linked above was cut because it would have shown a much more human side to her. She's also insufferable in the first few films but she's played so excellently by Fiona Shaw that you can't help but love to hate her. 46. Sirius Black - This will come as a surprise to many I expect as Sirius is pretty much a staple in all top 10 HP character lists but to me I've always found him boring and then he's dead pretty soon after being introduced anyway. He's an important character in the way that he provides Harry with a family that actually love him which is something he's never experienced before but ultimately Sirius doesn't really do much apart from saunter about, wink and turn into a dog occasionally... |

Crabbe and Goyle were awful actors and awful characters also tbh. Sooo wooden and one dimensional. Also seemed retarded.

Agree with those being low but also not a fan of Sirius' low placing one of my faves for sure and I still wish Harry had that opportunity with him

Ginny was snubbed in favour of Angelina and Yaxley (WHO?)?
Nice to see Petunia sneak in though, I agree with the commentary, think it's down to the flashbacks of her with Harry's mum (did they make it over from the books into the movies? I don't recall now) |

Yaxley is superb, good shout there. But you need Vernon and Dudley Dursley in there, especially Vernon - he'd be in my top 5 characters easily. Classic pompous ass!

I CAN'T at this Ginny stanning?? Maybe for the book version but the movie Ginny is the worst part of the series and the only casting that feels miscast. I've never seen such a wooden performance in any film, she lacks the whole array of emotions. I can't remember the exact wording but there's a line where Harry comes into the Great Hall after being in some form of danger and she goes something like 'He has blood on his face, why does he always have blood on his face?' with a complete lack of care and empathy. There's nothing to root for and you're left wondering why on Earth Harry is so infatuated with her. As Josh said, there's ZERO chemistry between them.
If she was male, y'all would deservedly hate her. |

Yeah I was never a fan of Ginny, there was just nothing to get excited about with her.
Luna Lovegood to slay *.* |
