BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ YTD T40 Albums (with estimated sales)

Posted by: vidcapper 16th November 2019, 08:09 AM

V2 :

YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.
2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range
3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)
4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.
5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.
6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

Thank you.

I'm starting to think that none of the albums above can reach double platinum by the end of year (or does Lewis have a re-release coming?)

That would require 20k/weekly for the rest of the year and last week both Lewis and Ed did half of it and it's not likely to change much next week.

it's been posted a million times like every week in the last month that Lewis has a re-release coming on the 22nd

Shame Pink will likely miss the top 20 in the end. Such a good album but it’s been a bit of a flop despite 3 weeks at no.1.

Do you have sales and a position for Dido-Still On My Mind.

Yeh really random that Pink had 3 weeks at no1 as the album seemed to come and go quickly.

Still think Ed and Lewis will sell a lot physically in the next 6 weeks as more and more people are in the shops buying physically.

I know most don't follow singles sales now but 'Dance Monkey' must be one of the years biggest sellers now even though it's peaked later in the year!

In the sales thread they confirm it is 27 on the year to end chart currently. Will no doubt be in the top 20, but 10 might be too much to expect.

I really do hope Ed and Lewis break the 600k threshold. If the greatest showman has a decent tv slot this year it could get some bumper sales in the last few weeks.

Posted by: Steve201 16th November 2019, 06:09 PM

It's still selling upwards of 80-85k per week which is very high for a no1 this year and that'll continue for at least 2 more weeks.

Pinks sales are ere disappoonting for this album as she always goes platinum, I wonder are they planning a re release.

Well done George for passing 1m since Friday. Bob Marley - Legend has also passed 1m for the decade with a few weeks to spare.

Hopefully Billie Eilish stays ahead of Bohemian Rhapsody. Can't really see anything outside the top 6 passing 300k for the year now.

Yeh well deserved for George, Staying With Tamara is well deserved it's million selling status since it was released last April.

I wonder if Coldplay can make top 10 with their release. I think no other album can sell enough to scrap top 10 of 2019.

Let's hope so!
