Non-Summertime Sadness :/
Lana is sick and has to rest for 4 weeks so the tour that was gonna start next week is cancelled that includes all UK and EU dates :/ In a message to fans, Lana commented: "Sorry to let everyone down so last minute but this illness has taken me by surprise and have totally lost my singing voice. Dr has advised 4 weeks off for the moment. I hate to let everyone down but I need to get well. Love Lana” |

I didn’t have tickets but wishing her a speedy recovery! Must be a nightmare for her hopefully the dates will be rescheduled or new dates added when she does make a recovery.

Its so disappointing for fans when tours get cancelled but announcing no rescheduling makes it more disappointing, im sure there is no artists who likes cancelling though.

No artist likes cancelling and many hold off cancelling until the last second hoping they will recover on time.

for me the worst case of a gig being cancelled was last year with Snow Patrol, cannot recall f it were the drummer or the bass player but he injured his hand
one week before the gig here in Copenhagen, they knew 1 week before but what did they top? NOTHING, and cancelled a couple hours before the show, when people (me included) were already at the venue. They could have found a replacement, they had 1 week to do so, even I could have learned the songs and I'm a poor player or cancel earlier so that people don't have to travel... I Understand if the lead singer loses the voice, they have to cancel, but just cos a bass player cannot play? find someone else, sure Gary Lightbody is irreplaceable but his drummer sure is /END OF RAMBLING |

I think going to a show and for it to be then cancelled is the worst scenario.
