You could always ban for BJSC101 instead...

I posted a good hour before the deadline and kept checking back and didn't get anything for 40 minutes. This week has been insanely stressful for me and I just want to not rush and actually listen to the tracks in full a decent amount of times for once, not taking a ban for an answer frankly, not even for BJSC 101. I've never missed a deadline before as well, from what I can see mdh has probably gone to sleep so what difference does it make?

Don't worry Dandy wasn't aimed at you either I just saw your post- it's just I would've appreciated communication (not aimed at you or anyone specifically) before the midnight deadline if my voting intentions weren't good enough. I appreciate not everyone is online all the time (God knows I'm not) but it is near the deadline and I saw a lot of activity on the thread.

Why does it have to be so strict anyway, it's an online music contest, not a work deadline. It's supposed to be for fun. Also can we have it more clear cut about late votes? To be honest I assumed they were always accepted with a 15% deduction (if you had an entry in the final). I don't see why a couple of hours here or there should affect anything honestly, even in normal circumstances. I'm not trying to be combative here it's just frustrating.

I'm sending my votes when I'm ready, regardless of whether or not they'll be accepted.

Jacob it says on the opening post that mdh isn't extending the deadline.

I already said we were minded not to ban for 100 because of the special nature of the contest.
