The annual telethon is back on Friday 18 November and sadly without Sir Terry Wogan who passed away earlier this year sad.gif

The BBC has announced a new line up of presenters: Graham Norton, Tess Daly, Greg James, Rochelle & Marvin Humes and Ade Adepitan.

Yawn at Tess Daly being kept on the line-up despite them going for an overhaul. Also slight yawn at Rochelle & Marvin Humes as they can be quite annoying from the odd time I've seen them on This Morning. Graham Norton is a great and safe choice though but it definitely won't be the same without Sir Terry and that definitely showed last year as well as the show fell a bit flat! Quite shocked to see no Fearne Cotton ohmy.gif

£3.5 million raised from the Rickshaw Challenge. Very inspired kids they are who did it.

I caught a couple of highlights, but it all just seems so lame and formulaic. They need to do something drastic next year to make it more interesting!

I'm very glad they smashed the record total raised though!

I watched the two (!) things I was actually interested in on YouTube which was the Doctor Who preview and the Eddie/BBC skit. It didn't really seem like there was anything else interesting from what I saw beforehand and afterwards.

But yes, very glad to see that huge total that they managed to raise!

There were some great moments from the kids over the course of the night and some real stories of bravery.

I'd just ditch all the celebrities - especially these poor pastiches where, this time, big names literally phoned in a few seconds of footage. People used to turn up on the night and give their time for free, not film a half-arsed bit at the end of The Apprentice or X Factor.
