Hello I'm Delta Goodrem, and this is Re-Invention II! I'm happy to be here in Unocastellia as the reigning champion to present this edition! 33 songs have been revealed, I'm hope you're as excited as I am to hear the songs in question and see how they measure up! There's a great range of covers, samples and remixes that I hope you all enjoy! I can't wait to hand the crown over to whoever you all decide is worthy! RULES
1) Vote, using the usual 18pt format in BJSC (18/15/13/12-1), for your favourites of the below songs. These must be http://buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?act=Msg&CODE=4&MID=10139 (Liam).
2) You of course cannot vote for your own entry.
3) You have until 23:59 on Saturday 11th August. Failure to vote at all will be subject to a 33% deduction, late votes will be a 15% deduction if accepted at my discretion.

I will be doing a plug session at some point this week but need to work around when I'll be moving out so idk when exactly just yet

Plug from 8 tonight, will probs go on at like 7, half 7 maybe to set up (thanks for the YT playlist Bray that makes it much easier!!). The final is only just over 2 hours so shouldn't run too much later than 10 with an interval.

Just under a day and a half to go and I've had 7 votes :') I'm not extending bc we're gonna have Buzzrate results from Monday so results are probably gonna have to be Monday evening before those as I'm moving out on Sunday.

Voted. My vote was ready to send with 12pts down to 1 and 6 commiserations listed. After a final check of the OP,I realised that it was 18pts down to 1 so I was able to give points to 5 of those countries.

Voted, I didn't find it as strong as the first re-invention, which I discovered some really wonderful stuff in but it was still an entertaining set of songs overall and my top five is <3

I think I liked this one more than the first Reinvention tbh! My only criticism would just be that quite a few people sent songs that had such obscure samples that they might as well have just been main contest entries (there were a few of those in the first Reinvention too but it seemed more prominent this time), although there were plenty of great examples of getting the spirit of the contest right as well so ~

Oh I felt a bit like that actually Bré - there were quite a few that I didn't actually recognise anything familiar at all in and I was more inclined to favour those that felt like they fitted the spirit of the contest.

Ok actually results may be tonight, might be a bit of a struggle prep wise as I'll have to do some scoreboards a bit later and then the rest during the runthrough but I'm probably having to move out tomorrow now instead Sorry to mess things around just a bit of a fuss moving out atm as I have to get a coach with half my stuff then come back for the rest later this week.

My laptop has decided to die which had scoreboards etc on, results may have to be seriously delayed until I can get it fixed unless someone takes over or something?

Ah that's really crappy timing. Do you have any idea what the timeline might be on when you'll be able to get it fixed?

(I can offer to step in to take over the scoreboards if you want, would need to knock up a quick spreadsheet first tho)

Depends when they get back to me about repair, might be like a week and a half or so? I've got the spreadsheet still as it was on Docs, it's just that I only have my iPad so hosting would be quite difficult and fiddly I'll keep you guys updated a bit later in the week and maybe sort something out for the weekend once Buzzrate results are done? :/
