Would tables have turned and they have been most popular pop act in Britain?

Robbie has said East 17 are one of his favourite pop bands and joked that he would have been better fitted in that group.

If he was a member, do you feel compared to a 4 man Take That in 90s, East 17 would have done better and potentially outsold Take That?

Thoughts.

Def not, i think east 17 had far too many problems internally and im sure that could have been worse with robbie as he has said himself he had a huge ego back then and liked to play up.

Of course not, it went horribly wrong for them because of Brian Harvey talking about his drug use in a radio interview. I doubt Robbie could have prevented that downfall.

Easy 17 had both internal and external issues along with Brian's drug issues that would always signify the end.
If Robbie was in the band they may have ended even sooner.
East 17 were lucky to have Stay Another Day in their discography or they would just about be remembered.

I only really know Stay Another Day. Take That have got many memorable hits. Maybe if Robbie was in East 17 they would have been more popular 🤔🤔
