So I'm attempting this again haha.
Obviously this is the first chart, so all of them are new! (also I'm going to keep songs to be under a year old - unless there's a special circumstance (Christmas, released as a single, etc) to avoid it being completely full of The 1975! 1. The 1975 - The 1975 2. The Struts - Pegasus Seiya 3. Martin Garrix - These Are the Times (feat. JRM) 4. Neck Deep - She's a God 5. The 1975 - TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME 6. Blossoms - Your Girlfriend 7. Hey Violet - Queen of the Night 8. Pale Waves - Noises 9. SWMRS - Trashbag Baby 10. Alessia Cara - Ready 11. Sabaton - 82nd All the Way 12. AJ Tracey - Ladbroke Grove 13. Deco - Dreamer 14. Vic Mensa & 93PUNX - 3 Years Sober (feat. Travis Barker) 15. blink-182 - Blame It On My Youth 16. Roseburg - RIP (feat. Kellin Quinn) 17. The Clause - In My Element 18. Two Door Cinema Club - Satisfaction Guaranteed 19. The 1975 - It's Not Living (If It's Not With You) 20. Busted - Shipwrecked in Atlantis 21. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes - Latex Dreams 22. SWMRS - Lose Lose Lose 23. Ava Max - So Am I 24. The Manatees - Headstrong 25. Roam - Pirannah 26. Boy George & Culture Club - Let Somebody Love You 27. Grayscale - Painkiller Weather 28. The Chainsmokers & ILLENIUM - Takeaway (feat. Lennon Stella) 29. The 1975 - I Like America & America Likes Me 30. Marshmello - One Thing Right (feat. Kane Brown) 31. Sam Fender - Will We Talk? 32. PVRIS - Death of Me 33. The Sherlocks - Magic Man 34. Sam Smith - How Do You Sleep? 35. Seaway - Pleasures 36. Slaves - One More Day Won't Hurt 37. Tom Grennan - City of Stars 38. Sea Girls - Open Up Your Head 39. Two Door Cinema Club - Talk 40. Taylor Swift - ME! (feat. Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco) The 1975 are of course this week's #1 - despite having just 1 day out! Their self-titled new track is the first from their upcoming fourth album 'Notes on a Conditional Form', but is not the single (which is 'People' out on August 22). Usually I'd talk about the new entries here, but they all are! The Struts feature at #2 with their theme tune from the new Netflix anime Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac - which I was planning to watch anyway. So I was pleasantly surprised when their theme appeared on Spotify! Martin Garrix rounds off the top #3 with his new track 'These Are the Times' featuring Jamaican singer Jaramye Jael Daniels - best known as JRM. Hey Violet feature at #8 with their new release 'Queen of the Night' - the third track to be released from their upcoming second album! There's also a fantastic acoustic version from their Vevo performance on YouTube. Next week look out for a high new entry from a certain 'Dominic Harrison'! |
