I've heard a lot of people raving about it so I need to check it out
Also noticed 1Xtra have launched The Rave Show on a Friday evening which champions black dance and electronic music (house, garage, techno, ampiano, jungle, drum and bass etc). Worth a listen for something different to Radio 1's offering. |

I think it's safe to say that the release of the anime MF Ghost has successfully revived Eurobeat music (original discussion for Eurobeat can be found here) on a small scale. The genre was somewhat popular in Japan in the late '90s and famous for its drifting videos and the iconic meme song Deja Vu by Dave Rodgers (real name: Giancarlo Pasquini), but then faded away in the early 2010s. Although they can be considered Eurodance, they still sound so different.
With the anime ending last Sunday, I want to give some appreciation to Eurobeat songs that appeared in Buzzjack contests. Feel free to add any Eurobeat songs that you're familiar with. Thought I'd post in her rather than creating a thread. Some of you may have noticed the number of mods has decreased from 3 to 2. After some thought I've decided to step away. It's been 5 and a half years and I've given as much as I can to dedicate to the role but it just naturally felt like my time was up. I'll still be around the forum so you haven't got rid of me that easily
