What are we all thinking?

Will Disco Symphony finally get its light of day with Robbie?

Late 2020 or more likely 2021?

Who will she work with?

Harris? Sigala?

If she goes in a disco direction, I just hope the material is decent and her voice isn’t over processed like on the recent Sigala collaboration.

I’d like to see Kylie work with Jonas Blue or Martin Garrix.

I hope she won't go into the New York City direction, please something like Raining Glitter.

It's hard to imagine she will give up her kind of country music completely. I don't see country singles anymore, but album tracks for sure. I guess her next album will be more mixed than concept.

I think country is well and gone. Except Dancing I don't expect to hear anything else in future concerts

She needs to stay as far away from New York city as its dire,, it should have stayed in the vault it was dragged out of. Dancing was brilliant and something on the lines of this would be great for the new album.

Personally I would love Kylie to record a Disco album, a full on authentic 70's styled Disco with a modern twist. This would be a great direction for her to take & apparently her fans have wanted her to do this for quite some time now. Some might say that 'Light Years' was Disco, but it wasn't (well not fully) as there were several different styles on there such as Pop, Dance, Europop & even a hint of Latin. But primarily it was more a Pop album than anything. Out of the 14 tracks on that album I'd say about 7 of them had the Disco sound to them.

I don't think she'll do another Country album as she don't normally repeat the same sound for more than 1 album, and with 'Raining Glitter' on there, I think that could be a hint of the direction she'll take next.

Raining Glitter was very safe and quite boring. Nice album filler but not strong enough

Skirt is the direction. Or proper dance with Harris, Guetta involved etc

100 Degrees was disco to me and I loved it, but I wouldn't be happy with a whole album like this. I wish Kylie would embrace her past with her next album plus adding new elements like she did on Light Years, but I guess it's easier said than done.

Ya its def easier said than done but I'm sure by now kylie has some idea in her head for what she wants to follow up golden with.

I liked the suggestion of Kylie doing a full-on disco-fused Christmas album instead of the mixed bag we got with Kylie Christmas, but oh well.

It'd be interesting if she fully went into doing a proper 70s throwback, but "disco" is such a flexible term so who knows what they mean by it.

Nothing wrong with Jonas Blue. They have done some great tracks and are popular right now.

I agree New York City was terrible but it was a reject and used purely as a bonus track to help promote the greatest hits. Kylie needs better more credible material to have another successful album!

There's absolutely no reason for Kylie to try and go with a sound because it's "popular right now" though. If she ever has a hit again it'll more than likely happen by accident rather than her attempting to chase a hit.

Yes, it was a track she did before she decided to go with a country influence with Golden. I very much doubt it'll be used as a blueprint for the new album (thankfully).

Yeah, exactly. I'd rather not have her chase some awfully reductive tinny tropical house sound just because it's "in", when she won't be getting a hit single anyway.

I feel like part of the reason for Golden's success is because it felt natural and authentic.

I agree, whatever sound she goes with it needs to be authentic to her and she has to believe in it. With golden kylie was really behind it and believed in it and it did help with its success. With kiss me once that belief never came across from kylie it felt more more like going through the motions and I'd hate that to happen again.

I agree Kylie shouldn’t just work with producers because they are popular and I wasn’t suggesting that in the first place if you read my original post. Jonas Blue have done some great tracks but the fact they are also popular is a bonus but that shouldn’t be the only driving factor!
