The Delinquents and Sample People are both available on DVD.
The Delinquents is enjoyable in parts and worth watching but i cant say the same for Sample People.
I have yet to see either televised but i have no doubt they were at some time, especially the Delinquents as it was successful.

I looked it up online, It was the most successful Australian film of 1990 on Australian soil and was also the 17th highest-grossing film of 1989 there.

As Charlene she was wonderful and i enjoyed her as Lola in the Delinquents but haven't enjoyed anything else.

A character with a huge legacy that opened so many opportunities for Kylie.

I would think Charlene made up a huge part of her initial fanbase when she started her music career, she would have lost some of those fans on her musical journey.
I think her reincarnation in 2000 brought in a new base and welcomed back some previous fans in addition to the fans that stayed with her throughout.
