Another week on top for Rita with not even really any close challengers, one more and she'll have the longest running #1 of 2017, on a par with the likes of acts I love like Jhene Aiko, who's had two three-week runs at the top of the tree this year. In other moves this week, Clean Bandit and Julia Michaels soar to #2, making I Miss You their highest charter since Rockabye's run at the top. Jhene Aiko's album title track Trip also hits top 5, her fourth of the year and sixth overall, which is actually less than I expected. She has 26 total top 40 charters for me, one of my all-time leaders. This week's highest new entry comes in just outside the top ten and goes to K-pop singer HyunA in her first appearance this year, some of you may have heard me drop it on plug or come across it in my spotify playlists.

This week brings again quite a few other new entries as Anne-Marie, Charming Horses, Grace, Gabrielle Aplin, Goldfrapp, Joakim Lundell, Jenny Owen Youngs, Kygo, LANY, Mura Masa, Taylor Swift, and The Killers all land new tracks. Notable climbs this week come from Lil Uzi Vert and Nicki Minaj, Emeli Sande, Weezer, and Vera Blue.
