I sort of like it but it's a pretty tacky vocal that sounds like an eJay sample circa 1999. Would have probably sounded better with a male vocal, or better yet, left as it was!

Spitfire finishes 15th with 93 points!
In the opening contest of 2014, and with a record shattering number of entries, Public Service Broadcasting did FSR Rontvia proud with the unusual Spitfire, which finished in 15th place with 93 points. The experimental track which fuses indie music with war radio samples scored votes from a wide range of nations. Spitfire peaked at No.3 in the Rontvian charts. Ricardo Delta said: ''It's nice to get a good result when mixing it up a bit genre wise. We're pleased with the result and already have a number of entries in contention for the next contest". The contest, held in Eledan, was won by Daehun. |

liked Spitfire alot! glad it did well as it was a somewhat risky choice (since it seems most of PSB's fanbase don't take part in BJSC)

I guess I'm trying to diversify my entries a bit recently. Yeah I figured that only about 2 or 3 max of their fans were here so it was relatively safe to send. |

FSR Rontvia finally send a German language song!
After very nearly sending Stadt by Cassandra Steen and Adel Tawil in 2009, FSR Rontvia have finally got around to sending a German language song to BJSC. Atemlos Durch Die Nacht by Helene Fischer is an anthemic slice of schlager and the poppiest entry that the nation has sent for many years, after months of more alternative offerings. The singer, a big star in Germany, has already hit #2 in FSR Rontvia with the song, stalling behind Shakira and Rihanna and Katy B. Ricardo Delta said: "It's Eurovision season and we're in full on pop mode, so we had to send a big schlager song this month, no matter how unfashionable it might be. We're hoping that it gets a good reception." |

Spanish girlband get their Avicii
Rontvia's first ever entry by a Spanish contestant will be girlband Sweet California with the country-pop-dance hybrid This Is The Life. Ricardo Delta tells us more... "This sound has been absolutely massive in FSR Rontvia over the past year. Avicii's Wake Me Up and Pitbull and Ke$ha's Timber were both huge No.1's and Britney Spears even went top ten with a bonus album track with this sound, Now That I Found You. This Is The Life basically sounds like all of these songs put together and we unasahmedly love it and really hope that it will win some fans across The Buzzjack World! The girls are very excited to be representing us with what is our poppiest entry in over a year! We've dabbled in some different genres recently with Hozier, RL Grime and Public Service Broadcasting but FSR Rontvia is primarily a pop and dance led nation." The song is set to enter the Rontvian charts this weekend! Here the song and watch the video below: |

This may just be your best entry since I entered! It's on the same level as Platinum Chains for me

Nice to hear Tim I knew it would be a polarising entry but most of my entries seem to be these days as I always send songs that appeal to very specific niches, be it big cheesy pop, German schlager, trap or indie, and that's just the past four contests |
