Goes to radio on February 28th
DEAD.
It better leak cause I literally can't wait any longer for new Carrie now we have news The album is sure to be nothing short of incredible, Carnival Ride and Some Hearts are in my top 5 albums ever and Play On would be just outside top 10
Excuse me well I die of a stan's excitement.
It's been FOREVER since we had new Carrie, or so it seems.
Crazy excited for this
Aaah SUPER excited for this, feels like a long time since cowboy casanova premiered from her last album :-))
I've been bumming "Carnival Ride" hard recently, am into new Carrie
such an amazing voice! cant wait to hear it
Album is out May 1st Looking forward to this. Hopefully it makes up for Play On!
Play On doesn't need making up for
Ugh, this needs to leak right now I need it in my life!
I never managed to get into Play On. Wasn't anywhere near as good as the first two albums.
Love Underwood! I'm pleased she took a break after Play On, I thought she seemed to just waltz into every album campaign approximately 30 seconds after declaring the last one finished. She has some strong albums under her belt too, some of my favourites!
Thanks to Liam I am a rather big fan of Carrie, but only have Play On Got a fair few other tracks though, can't wait for this.
30 second clip:
ZOMG AMAZING DEAD.
Sounds absolutely amazing. Classic Carrie <3
Dammit it's been taken down already.
I am rather a fan of Carrie, I picked up the album with Cowboy Cassanova in Florida and LOVED it. I already had Carnival Ride before that (I think that's the one, The on I have has Before He Cheats on it)
You have Some Hearts then Carnival Ride is her 2nd (and best) album. All are incredible and in my top 20 of all time though.
Just checked my iPod, says I have all three! Ooops.
I do like her, I'm just new to fandom.
OHMYGODDEAD:

BETTER BE TRUE. Only SIX days
^ It was always going to be released to radio 23rd February. I think 28th is download release
Oh, I didn't know that The first post says the 28th. But the closer new Carrie is, the better!
Sounds pretty damn good...
Oh good! It's back up.
That sounds really promising from the clip.
Isn't the full song premiering today?
That clip sounds amazing! Can't wait to hear the full song.
I NEED THIS NOW.
The Queen Of Music is finally back.
can't wait to hear full version!
OH MY GOD. AMAZING.
Firey, feisty classic Carrie I am in love after one listen!
finally the full version!! on repeat "you better get so getting on your goodbye shoes...."
Its alright, but its too poppy for my liking, certainly not her best song. Hopefully the album proves to be better.
She always does a totally varied album, there is no worries there on my front
Where can I hear it?
It's fantastic! So breezy and hooky.
After like 30 listens (not even joking), it's really reminding me of Rumour Has It in places!
I actually love it! Brilliant song, can't wait till it's released.
OMG i love it! Have had it on repeat for some time now, go Carrie
Shania who? I can finally forgive her for Cowboy Casanova.
How could you not have liked Cowboy Casanova Joao?!
PREACH. Cowboy Cassanova is an easy Carrie top 5 entry for me, and she's my favourite singer of all time!
I really could not get into the third era. It was pretty forgettable. Apart from Temporary Home. The video makes me so emotional.
I've literally only heard Cowboy Casanova and Temporary Home from the third album, and I liked both, but TH is infinitely better.
Saying that, I've heard less than 10 Carrie songs anyway, but I hope to get her albums when I have the money.
2 on U.S itunes
It's not too bad, loved her other material, this one may need a few more listens to get into it. But it's okay.
I'm really getting into Play On at the minute. Unapologize is especially great. I have all her albums but I've never really given them a proper go beyond the singles. I'm going to work backwards.
I also had a little go at doing my own cover art for Good Girl using the image from the single cover...
^I like! Not sure on the font for Carrie's name though.
debuted at 24 on the hot 100
The album is being revealed today, 'piece by piece'.
I'll have a look tomorrow morning since it should be done then
Little teasers have been posted for the new album cover on her official facebook, new bits are being posted all night until the whole thing is revealed.
I must say it's not looking too bad.
http://reveal.carrieunderwoodofficial.com/
[obviouspun]I'm blown away by the blown away cover[/obviouspun]
Srsly though, the cover looks incredible. Easily her best.
She looks fiiiiiiiit!
Photoshop fail.
LOVE it.
Shit title but it's her best album cover and she's stunning <3
Angelina's leg really is getting EVERYWHERE isn't it
I have that exact same dress but in red
Nice cover, she looks good.
I love that cover! She looks really nice there.
Video:
Pretty good. Looks like somebody had fun in the editing suite. I wish they'd made a bit more of the two Carries coming face to face at the end though...
Really great video! The song might be growing on me finally too.
Love the video to it. Pretty awesome.
Great video, she's looking lush
Surprised no-one's posted the tracklisting yet!

18. Jesus, Take The Wheel
I believe the last four songs are UK bonus tracks.
They did that with the UK release of Play On, except slightly different added tracks
So excited, less than a month til the Queen is back
How strange to put a couple of ancient tracks as bonus tracks, although I can hardly complain, anything to bring them to a wider audience. Although realistically, who in the UK that's going to buy Blown Away WON'T be familiar with Before He Cheats and Jesus Take The Wheel?
Apparently Carrie is coming to the UK... I think something is being announced next week.
^ OMFG A bit of promo would be lovely thanks Carrie Or a surprise free concert in Bristol
Confirmed to be coming to the UK!
@danwootton Just interviewed @carrieunderwood - one of my favourite American singers. Guess what? She's finally coming to the UK!
Does that mean Good Girl might get a proper push in the UK with TV and radio airplay? Or am I just dreaming!
Awwww Carrie in the UK I'm actually gonna make an effort to try and meet her I've loved her since 'Jesus Take The Wheel'
Hopefully, considering she has a low profile in the UK it'd make it easier to meet her oh who am I fooling but myself
Haha same, she is my favourite singer of all time If she was anywhere near Bristol I'd be up for stalking!
Yay for UK Carrie!
Isn't it time for single #2?!
June 21st Royal Albert Hall! I am THERE!
f*** I AM NOT IN LONDON BUT I HAVE TO GO.
this is a little bit exciting, and if good girl actually does anything on the charts i'll be very happy
Second single is 'Blown Away' and tickets for the UK show go on pre-order tomorrow and general sale starts on the 27th!
Tempted to ask for tickets for my birthday. Which is three day's after the concert lol.
I really wanna go see Carrie but its smack in the middle of my exams
ANYWAY, I thinks its time for a Carrie top 5 rate
1.) Jesus Take The Wheel
2.) Before He Cheats
3.) Just A Dream
4.) I Know You Won't
5.) Some Hearts
My friend works at the Royal Albert Hall and can get me free tickets
Or you could pay and support the artist.
Oh hush Jark, if you could get free tickets you would do it.
Ooh, I can easily do a top 10!
1. So Small
2. Some Hearts
3. Good Girl
4. Jesus, Take The Wheel
5. Temporary Home
6. Before He Cheats
7. I Know You Won't
8. Cowboy Casanova
9. Last Name
10. Wheel Of The World
I remember just thinking "Wow" when I heard I Know You Won't. Her vocals are just perfection on that one, not that they aren't anyway.
As far as 'I Know You Won't''s go, Kelly's cover blows the original out of the water. I love Carrie and her version of it but lord:
Fine, I shall do a top 10 too just didn't think there were that many Carrie stans apart from Liam
1.) Jesus Take The Wheel
2.) Before He Cheats
3.) Just A Dream
4.) I Know You Won't
5.) Some Hearts
6.) Temporary Home
7.) Cowboy Casanova
8.) Flat On The Floor
9.) Wasted
10.) So Small
01 Sometimes You Leave
02 I Know You Won't
03 Starts With Goodbye
04 Just a Dream
05 Cowboy Casanova
06 Last Name
07 That's Where It Is
08 Lessons Learned
09 Before He Cheats
10 Flat On The Floor
Yeah, it's complimentary for her because she works there. You don't work there. You want to see her live. You should pay. Pretty basic logic.
THE ALBUM HAS LEAKED
Its streaming for free on US iTunes don't know for how long though
I'll wait for the iTunes rip in a week's time then buy the album when it finally comes out in the UK
Listened to the album in full now - I absolutely ADORE it! My standouts are Thank God For Hometowns, Good Girl and Who Are You, but I loved each and every track really.
Liam dead? I thought he'd be ALL over this.
Listened 3 times before I declare it an opus:
10 Good Girl
10 Blown Away
09 Two Black Cadillacs
08 See You Again
07.5 Do You Think About Me
08 Forever Changed
08.5 Nobody Ever Told You
09.5 One Way Ticket
09.5 Thank God For Hometowns
09.5 Good In Goodbye
09 Leave Love Alone
09.5 Cupid's Got A Shotgun (very Miranda Lambert!)
07.5 Wine After Whisky
08.5 Who Are You?
Yeah, allow me to stan
I love the first four songs, and the final two tracks. Everything else just falls into filler.
I got tickets! Waiting for the retail version before I listen to the album but I can't wait to see her!
Just thought I'd mention this:
I sort of squee-d when I saw it.
I think I'm ready for a rate.
10.0 Good Girl
09.0 Blown Away
08.5 Two Black Cadillacs
08.0 See You Again
07.5 Do You Think About Me
08.0 Forever Changed
08.5 Nobody Ever Told You
08.5 One Way Ticket
09.5 Thank God For Hometowns
09.0 Good In Goodbye
08.5 Leave Love Alone
09.0 Cupid's Got A Shotgun
09.0 Wine After Whiskey
10.0 Who Are You
Very strong album, as I said!
Good Girl was playing in my local co-op today!
Carrie singing Good Girl with the PS22 Chorus.
Poised for a #1 debut on the Billboard 200, selling between 275k-295k, hopefully she goes slightly over and clears 300k - Carrie slaying as usual <3 Around about the same sales as Play On, only a bit less (Play On sold 318k) and Good Girl wasn't as big as Cowboy Cassanova!
SO happy for her She is huge in America, but I was worried that she'd fall victim to the recent crap sales and open with less than half Play On's opening sales!
Good Girl's out properly in the UK this Sunday. Not that it's gonna do anything...
She performed Blown Away on Idol last night (tonight in the UK), it was incredible as always Great to see her not perform Good Girl, though I love it. It's sent Blown Away top 20 on US iTunes as well!
Gah, stanning so hard *.*
My album rating after a few listens;
10 | Good Girl
11 | Blown Away
10 | Two Black Cadillacs
10 | See You Again
08 | Do You Think About Me
10 | Forever Changed
06 | Nobody Ever Told You
08 | One Way Ticket
04 | Thank God for Hometowns
09 | Good in Goodbye
05 | Leave Love Alone
09 | Cupid’s Got a Shotgun
08 | Wine After Whiskey
09 | Who Are You
Outstanding album The first half of the album it utter perfection IMO. Only tracks i'm not keen on are 'Thank God For Hometowns' and 'Leave Love Alone' - most blatant fillers.
My favourite album of 2012 so far, which isn't too hard to beat considering the releases we've had so far
What a brillaint album. Still not as good as PLay On imo due to it having the spectacular What Can I Say but very close. Some brilliant tracks on here though:
10 | Good Girl
10 | Blown Away
10 | Two Black Cadillacs
11 | See You Again
08 | Do You Think About Me
10 | Forever Changed
06 | Nobody Ever Told You
08 | One Way Ticket
07 | Thank God for Hometowns
10 | Good in Goodbye
05 | Leave Love Alone
08 | Cupid’s Got a Shotgun
08 | Wine After Whiskey
09 | Who Are You
SHE'S DOING A UK ALBUM SIGNING!!!!!!!
Fml though, it's on London (HMV Oxford Street, 20th June) and also on a school day so I couldn't go even if I could get someone to miraculously drive me...
Erm, I've just seen Before He Cheats on Chart Show TV? Is this getting like... a ridiculously late release here?
Lolwut? That's just... weird THe best song of all time deserves more recognition but to release it nearly 7 years after it came out on Some Hearts (6 years after the US single release) would just be RIDICULOUS. Then again Will Young got a minor Hot 100 hit out of Leave Right Now last year in the US (although it was used as the farewell song on Idol)
It is on the UK edition of Blown Away (along with some of Carrie's biggest hits) as bonus tracks though, if they're playing it on Chart Show TV you never know, perhaps a years and years too late release Good Girl is the current single in both UK and the US (Blown Away next, video comes out soon and the preview looks amazing), it bombed in the UK but then they didn't bother really pushing it, she is promoting the album over here though.
OMFG an album signing ?!?!?! *dead*
I'm blatantly going I have an exam three days after that which is why i'll miss the concert
But this definitely makes up for that Thanks for sharing that Liam!
Damn. I might be working otherwise I'll go
Blown Away music video teaser;
Hyperventilated watching that the other day *.* Looks like it could be her best video, and that's saying something!
She's on Loose Women on the 20th btw
I love that her team updated her status saying that 'Blown Away' has been chosen as the next single due to popular demand like it wasn't already planned lol.
Can't make the signing - parents said no.
4 days till the signing i'm so excited! I really hope I can get a picture with her or else i'll be gutted LOL
Anyone going to her Royal Albert Hall concert by any chance ? I wanted to go but I have an exam the day after
I'm going! My copy arrived in the post today too. Might end up going to the signing too depending on how the day works out for me.
Why is everyone receiving their copies of this and Believe in the post before me?
I can cope with this, though, cause I downloaded the album when it leaked.
I've finally listened to 'Blown Away' (the song). It's great, and I can't wait for the video!
I can see this being the song to get Carrie to go international!
My copy hasn't come yet either Joesph!
Same as you though, I downloaded it when it leaked a few days before US releae and have been hammering ever since - I just want the physical thing
I'm buying my copy on Monday didn't bother with pre-ordering it online as i'm a bit of panic-freak with deliveries, I keep thinking they'll arrive late
Picked this up today as my Tesco actually stocked it shockingly. Will let u know what I think
My copy arrived today. Will be nice to hear the album when tracks 2-14 aren't in a lower volume compared to Good Girl...
I watched her interview and her first ever UK performance () on Breakfast BBC this morning!
She comes across really well, and seems to be well-grounded and wasn't arrogant in any way despite all of her success! Also, I was surprised by how powerful her voice is live and I really love it!
Glad to see 'Blown Away' top 20 on iTunes albums!
Just watched it now - she came across really well I thought! She also looked stunning. And of course, that performance was amazing! Really hope all this promotion pays off.
She is actually perfect. I was shaking when I met her, she's so pretty. Words can't describe.
I was so awkward I didn't know what to say to her. So instead I shouted 'I'M SO EXCITED FOR TOMORROW' at her. I don't think she knew how to deal with me.
I was there as well! We spoke about "I Know You Won't". She seemed really giddy!
She's beautiful! I never thought much of her and thought she was pretty average. (Nice looking but average, girl next door sort of attractive) but she seems pretty stunning!
I am a rather big fan of Carrie, so exciting to be here.
Just noticed the setlist for the show... I couldn't attend sadly. I'm raging. f***ING WORK!
But everyone is coming out the woodwork as a Carrie fan!
It was a brilliant night. She is flawless vocally. I was standing throughout the set but she deserved the standing ovation at the end of How Great Thou Art. She also covered Coldplay's 'Fix You' and in my head her and Kelly were duetting.
I heard she mentioned me though, before she performed "I Know You Won't"???
I can't recall it. I Know You Won't was during the encore. There was an intro, then she sang that and led into Blown Away and thanked everyone before she left. She did mention a fan before a song but I believe it was for Quitter.
When I went into Asda today, I saw on the new releases shelf at the entrance of the shop contained many Cheryl and Carrie albums! I couldn't resist so I have now bought Blown Away. I am SO glad I did, it's an amazing album! It's so great, my early favourites are Good Girl, Blown Away, See You Again, Forever Changed and Who Are You. I love it though!
I'm going to check out her older albums too, I have a feeling I'm going to love them too!
Also, in case anyone is unaware, Who Are You is a free download on Amazon at the moment!
Video of the year. LOVE the Wizard Of Oz themes and how real the hurricane looks!
Ooh, I love it!! I love how dramatic it feels and it really suits the song!
I really hope a Carrie single will finally be pushed in the UK after the success of the album here! It has the potential to do really well I think, radio would eat this up!
I don't really follow her music but ohmyyy is she beautiful! Big voice too!
she never normally has the best videos, but this is stunning! :-)
The video above has now been removed, but here is the video in HD on Carrie's VEVO page!
The video is incredible! So so so good. Really works well with the song too.
It's great that it managed to chart top 200 purely on a bit of radio 2 airplay and a BBC Breakfast performance! Like you say, there is definitely interest in her if only she could be brought to the attention of a wider audience!
I don't know what the UK "release" date for the song is, but does Simon Cowell still have anything to do with her? Maybe she could appear on the X Factor, but I'm sure that's just a dream!
We just need Radio 1 to playlist it, which I guess there is a chance! Then if Capital take a lead from the BBC, plus TV channels choose to play the video - I can see it doing very well! If only that would all happen!
Like you say, this song is definitely the song that they need to push here as it is the track with the most crossover she's ever had and this is the chance to get Carrie into the chart here! I think the UK is classed as the 2nd or 3rd most important music market, so I'm sure her label will give it a go seeing as they did make an effort for the album release with a bit of UK promo!
