In response to other AFs posting these threads and some not being a fan of 'Confide in Me', what opinions do you hold on Kylie or Dannii songs that would be unpopular with the rest of Buzzjack?

I’m glad it done well for her but Golden isn’t really that good as an album tbh.

I think Kiss Me Once is good! It definitely gets a hard time. I've said before that the music itself is the least problematic element of the era, although I'd still rate it as one of my least favourite albums. If I Was Gonna Cancel wasn't a single and they had a third release too, say the title track and If Only, the album would already be vastly more approved. |

My obvious one is confide in but in contrast I'm a big bittersweet goodbye fan which many dont like. I think I also rate kylies enjoy yourself much higher than many of her other fans do. With dannii I hate everything from her first album I've always felt its awful.

That would have been a perfect run of singles |

I’m glad it done well for her but Golden isn’t really that good as an album tbh. Tea. Half of the songs are essentially the same with slightly different tweaks here and there. 'Slow' is an unparalleled moment in her career — the song, the aesthetic, the video, the production — complete perfection. 'Confide in Me' gets more attention as her best work but I would choose 'Slow' every time. |

I think my big sticking point is the fact I can't abide 'Especially For You'.
Also that 'Giving You Up' is a huge favourite. |

Get outta my way is just about average for me and think better than today is far better. Like you tawdry I'm a big fan of giving you up and nowadays I prefer it to I believe in you but still think IBIY is great.

Maybe not fully unpopular but Spinning Around is average and much stronger material resides on the Light Years album.
I enjoy Celebration and prefer it against singles such as Where is The Feeling, I Was Gonna Cancel, Red Blooded Woman and A Lifetime To Repair. |

'Red Blooded Woman' isn't very highly regarded on BuzzJack but I love it!
'Slow' is an unparalleled moment in her career — the song, the aesthetic, the video, the production — complete perfection. 'Confide in Me' gets more attention as her best work but I would choose 'Slow' every time. Yessss! 'Slow' is her magnum opus for sure |

Slow works strongly for Kylie both sound and vocally and makes it very much stand above Confide In Me.
Both tracks are catalysts for Kylie showcasing she is vocally stronger than given credit for and also showcases the different styles she has offered through her career. |

I have never felt Golden was her strongest album but it was a good return to form after Kiss Me Once and Kylie Christmas.
Golden is a long way from some of her previous releases but i would place it ahead of the above mentioned and KM94 and Body Language. That said, Dancing is superb. |

Despite having quite a lot of great singles, Kylie has never released a great album.
I'll run away now... |
