YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.
2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range
3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)
4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.
5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.
6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

Well spotted - it wasn't charting at the last y/e, so didn't get it's overall total carried forwards.

Wonder why OCC have published the YTD ranking for Ireland but not UK?

OK its bugging me but I'm guessing TGS has 7k in imported sales if that's possible , how else would it get them unless the release date wasn't 4/1/18

It is not wrong, the album entered on the chart dated 04/01/18 (week ending).

Same old problem - there is no definitive total, and the OCC only has post 1994 figures.



4/1/18 was the date it first *charted* - it seems to have been released a week or two bwfore.

I know it unlikely to be there at end of year unless it just top 100 it’s interesting to see The other side top 50 even though it’s not been allowed to chart

God's Plan has 1.2m combined sales, including 111m streams.

That means the biggest song of the year has only been purchased 90,000 times...

I doubt it's the biggest *seller* though, as urban music tends to be very streaming-heavy.

I imagine OK, Shotgun or This Is Me will all eventually overtake it before the year is out, let alone what else comes out in the next 6 months.
