I love how the managed to fit about 15 songs into 14 minutes we we could hear all the hits, but some of the songs were definitely too short. We should’ve had more Hips Don’t Lie And On The Floor and cut out a couple tracks
It also didn’t really have a “moment” like with Firework for Katy, Halo for Beyonce Bad Romance for Gaga - and it never really felt like the two came together

It was great, high energy and full of hits but I feel like it could’ve been improved

interaction there was zero, really thought they were gonna interact more and do lots of things together

really thought Shakira looked and acted much younger and effervescent than JLo

Shakira was such a joy to watch and her singing felt like lip syncing, is she really that good?! laugh.gif

With JLo I could take it or leave it really. I mean meh. She was good but bitch ain't no Beyoncé/Gaga~

I believe that there's a certain amount of the performance has to be lip synched or something? I'm probs (very likely lol) wrong. But I'm sure I read that somewhere aha.

Edit: Apparently it's encouraged but not strictly enforced.

Interesting to see the above comments, I thought Jlo was the clear main star of the halftime show - Shakira seemed like the opening act in comparison, rather than a co-headliner (still loved her set though).

I think Jennifer Lopez puts on more of a show but Shakira is a more natural performer. Somehow, Shakira bellydancing on her own is more captivating than J Lo being thrown around.

I agree with the person that said there shouldve been more interaction. I loved the Let's Get Loud/Waka Waka mash up and it would've been good to do the whole set like that. Shakira could've got some of JLo's theatrics and JLo could've injected a bit of fun into her performance.

I loved it but I expected to see more of them together heart.gif

Can’t really decide on who was best. Equally as good. I’m probably someone who listens to J-LO more though but think Shakira is more talented.

honestly have only just got my breath back, it was so fabulous. the pole dancing, the belly dancing, the hits!

i got goosebumps when shakira started singing whenever wherever + the crowd started to scream. was so buzzed for jlo’s whole show, just wow. i liked the little nods to each other’s tracks but i think it would have detracted from each other’s sets had they done more songs together - they can save that for the joint tour kink.gif

Uhm, for instance the transition from She Wolf to Empire and to Ojos Asi - not so smooth

And by mess I really mean it should've been done more seamlessly. 15 songs was too much to make it really work.

I thought it was super super professional, you make it sound like a bad thing, but it wasn't
it was also 1000% fun, m just the opposite of Maroon 5 last year

Fun and entertaining is one thing but was it as GOOD as Prince, Beyoncé, Madonna or Gaga. For me it was not.
