Which of her albums is the most underrated? The one you think is awesome but the fanbase doesn't think much of it.
I decided not to include Glory because its just way too soon for that. VOTE! |

Yeah I'm voting for Oops! too, in my holy trinity and usually in everyone else's bottom of the pile. Stellar pure pop album.

No one should be allowed to vote for 'Blackout' or 'In The Zone' as they are praised by almost every pop listener.

'Britney'. Easily. Especially amongst fans. It's so close to 'Glory' at #3 for me and I feel it is really underrated and feel it often gets overlooked.
I get the impression that people seem to either prefer 'Blackout'/'In The Zone' or they class 'Oops'/'Circus' as their faves (if that makes sense). I feel 'Britney' more often than not gets lost in the mix! |

I voted for 'Britney' too...that was the perfect album with best of both worlds...school girl and sex GODDESS. Very experimental and definitely a path to her mature sound.

BJ. I actually think it's got some great tracks on there and the fan base hates it, so it was an obvious choice!

Switch out NTIFY for perfume and I agree. (Though I have a soft spot for BMS)

One thing is for sure, I much prefer the dance tracks on BJ over Clumsy. Body Ache should've been this album's Radar

Circus for me. I hardly ever see anyone talk about it yet there is just so many highlights! Fabulous mix of fierce pop bangers and inspired, heartwarming ballads. Mind you, I also assumed 'Amnesia' was underrated until a few weeks ago.

For me I totally get why Circus doesn't get much attention, it felt like such a step down after Blackout for me. Quite a few dull moments I chose Oops! Though. Adore that album so much.

Circus is just TAINTED by such an underwhelming tracklist. First off, who decided to put 'Kill The Lights' AFTER 'Out From Under'? "We interrupt our program of dance music...", um???????????
Second of all not even having 'Amnesia', 'Trouble' OR 'Quicksand' even AS bonus tracks while songs like 'My Baby', 'Mmm Papi', 'Blur' and 'Lace & Leather, get spots on the main album. Which, btw, I enjoy the latter 3, but they are NO WHERE near as strong as the tracks I mentioned; Once again let me play "How I'm better than 80% of Britney's team" 1. Circus 2. Amnesia 3. Unusual You 4. Shattered Glass 5. Womanizer 6. Kill The Lights 7. If U Seek Amy 8. Out From Under 9. Trouble 10. Phonography 11. Mannequin 12. Quicksand BONUS TRACKS: 13. Blur 14. Rock Me In 15. Mmm Papi 16. Lace & Leather NO need for 'My Baby'. And y'all listen to it in that order and tell me it's not 10x better sonically. If this were the TRACKLISTING 'Circus' would move to my fourth favorite out of her nine albums from the seventh. |

With that tracklist it would easily climb from #3 on my list to #1. Flawless

'Britney', easily. I always find it impossible to rank her albums, but this is definitely near the top for me.
I also love 'Oops...' but I assumed it was rated highly by most people! Definitely between that and 'Britney' for most underrated but to me, 'Britney' seems like the least talked about which is a shame. |

I'd say either ...Baby One More Time or Britney. I'd suggest you register to her debut without expecting the music to fit into the current landscape of pop. A brilliant album for the time it was released.

Ew at the prospect of Britney Jean getting votes. Like with In the Zone and Blackout, it is truly deserved of the reception it receives.
