 Steps 20th - 0.390669362 Steps became a new addition to the artist forums line up back in April of this year. While the forum has been a great success, it seems their presence in this contest was less well received! Four of their biggest hits and a major fan favourite album track just wasn't enough to translate into more than 20th place overall, but... it's the taking part that counts, right? x A memorable moment during the decision making was a debate regarding whether It's the Way You Make Me Feel is a ballad or midtempo. I am team midtempo!  Ava Max 19th - 0.394833783 Ava Max was one of the artists involved in AF Idol Spin-Off 2.0 (which happened earlier in 2021) and due to now having her own artist forum she was eligible for the main contest. In the Spin-Off she came 6th out of 12 artists - rather notably outdoing The Beatles! 19th on this occasion, but clearly many of us appreciated the bops that were sent. Her most recent smash My Head & My Heart performed the best! I love steps - there’s soooo many steps songs I would have voted for but didn’t vote for many of these. I think the songs chosen were okay but I’d be interested to see how some other songs would have performed.
Ava Max was a great discovery for me, especially Born To The Night
