#266 - 4 June 2018

This week sees La Toya Jackson battling Hollywood Undead for the top spot!

La Toya Jackson join Andy on his track Tehran, which is sung on Persian! It is fun upbeat track and I just wanna move my body when I hear it. The video slays too, La Toya Jackson is a QUEEN! This is Andy's first entry on the chart and La Toya's second appearance after her 2014 dance-pop #1 Feels Like Love which topped the charts for two weeks.

Hollywood Undead are no strangers to the chart either. Their Five album has been impacting the chart lately with tracks Nobody's Watching and Whatever It Takes going top twenty and the album itself topping the album chart. They also have a #1 on the singles chart with Does Everybody In The World Have To Die? which hit the top spot in 2016. I've seen them live and they put on a great show. Other charted songs include Pigskin and Party By Myself.

Their track Broken Record also comes from the Five album. The track is personally meaningful to me and kinda describes how my mental health is at the moment. It charted at 10 last week but where is it now?

Find out who made it to the top spot below!

Another new entry this week is Childish Gambino - This Is America. I thought nothing of this track when I first heard it but after a couple of weeks I started to really appreciate and enjoy it so it feels right to include it in my personal chart this week.

Gay rapper Lil Phag enters the chart with rap track Rick And Morty which is about one of my absolute favourite cartoons biggrin.gif

AC/DC entered with Thunderstruck which featured in Deadpool 2. I have heard the song at a couple of rock and metal nights and have been listening to it a lot recently.

Hi Tombo,

I forgot to chart Thunderstruck again after seeing Deadpool 2 again this week laugh.gif It sounds good, and it's one of their best tracks.

Of all the unpredictable music combos I think LaToya going Persian is right up there! Not bad track either...

Lil Phag? Deserves a big hit just for the name! laugh.gif

cheers!

I know very few of these! Funny how our taste crosses over a lot sometimes and other times not at all ohmy.gif

Rise will be debuting for me next week I think! As will Dinero, and Solo is in my top ten of the chart that will be going up shortly!

Hiya John, thanks for commenting yahoo.gif

Yeah, La Toya singing in Persian is a bit random I must admit haha but it is a fun track and I'm glad she is trying new things smile.gif

And yeah Lil Phag's is surely unique laugh.gif

Yeah, that's true, on Plug we sometimes seem to have a lot in common tastewise but yeah it doesn't always seem to cross over laugh.gif

Ah cool, I am enjoying Rise more and more and good stuff about Solo biggrin.gif

Hello Tombo!
I'm glad for the debuts of "This Is America", "He Is The Same" and "Rise" in the top 10!
I also like the debut of "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC, what a great classic!
Great chart overall!
