14/15 I could have sworn Lou Bega had another minor track, just outside the top 40 though, I think.

15/15. Not that I'm boasting or anything.

I was a bit wary about Owl City because his other hit was a collaboration, but they did count it.

12/15. Missed Eamon, Chesney Hawkes and Vanessa Paradis, the latter two were a bit before my time so no tears shed.

I'm really surprised Daniel Powter was close percentage-wise, he's one of the biggest one hit wonders ever for me.

Interestingly, he would have had another top 40 hit, as "Free Loop" sold enough copies for a chart placing. However, the CD single featured a version of "Bad Day" on it, and as that song was still top 40 at the time, chart rules at the time made it ineligible to chart. Wonder if he'd have had a longer lasting career if that hadn't happened.

Got 14/15, got the Vanessa Paradis one wrong.

Daniel Powter did almost have a second hit with 'Free Loop', but it was DQ'd because it had 'Bad Day' on the B-side.

A minor hit for you; can you score a bigger one next time?
