Cyprus has really drifted. I put these odds on on Saturday (all each-way, so if any finish top four I'll get something at least) and was quite happy with getting Cyprus at 12/1:
Cyprus £5 at 12/1 Iceland £3 at 8/1 Malta £3 at 5/1 Netherlands £3 at 300/1 (a very long shot, but it deserves better than its odds) Portugal £3 at 100/1 (was just imagining an unlikely scenario where they top the jury vote and come like 10th on the televote and this is enough for 4th overall!) Norway £2 at 100/1 UK 50p at 150/1 (I know there's no chance but I always stick something - even if tiny - on the UK entry ) Russia 50p at 50/1 Kicking myself for not putting something on Ukraine each way when they were much further out. I could definitely see them around 4th now. This post has been edited by gooddelta: May 18 2021, 10:35 PM |

For any archivists, Switzerland were the initial odds favourites, only to be overtaken by Malta who were strong leaders for a while, and then France and especially Italy made huge gains once the rehearsals started.
Malta's back up to #2 since they qualified and Ukraine's had a significant increase too. |

I think Malta and Israel have the best songs. Malta's performance might let her down though & Israel will have anti-votes

Ukraine rocketing here.
I still think the battle will be between Italy and France though... Would be FAB if the top 3 was non-English. This post has been edited by Sour Candy: May 19 2021, 07:07 AM |

Good luck! I always go a bit silly. I put £20 on Italy to win the other day with a further £100 today. I have no filter when it comes to Eurovision betting. Thanks, you too. That doesnt sound like a bad bet to be fair but I do have to cap mine at £50 otherwise Id go wild. Some years I do really well and others I lose the whole lot! |

You seem to be missing Iceland from that top 10!
I don't understand why Cyprus have fallen so much since last night, it was fantastic?! |

3/1 Italy (Måneskin - Zitti E Buoni)
7/2 Malta (Destiny - Je Me Casse) 4/1 France (Barbara Pravi - Voilą) 7/1 Switzerland (Gjon's Tears - Tout l'Univers) 10/1 Ukraine (Go_A - SHUM) 17/1 Iceland (Daši og Gagnamagniš - 10 Years) 22/1 Bulgaria (VICTORIA - Growing Up Is Getting Old) 40/1 Cyprus (Elena Tsagrinou - El Diablo) 40/1 San Marino (Senhit - Adrenalina) 66/1 Lithuania (THE ROOP - Discoteque) Switzerland keep shortening! I swear Switzerland were the favourites to win (or at least up there with France and Malta) last time I checked? wonder what caused it to drift so much only to start shortening again.

Id guess its due to other favourites from Semi 1 overtaking Switzerland in the last few days immediately after their performances but now the hype and anticipation that hell have a good performance tonight leading people to back him just before he comes on and delivers what is expected of him.

I swear Switzerland were the favourites to win (or at least up there with France and Malta) last time I checked? wonder what caused it to drift so much only to start shortening again. The rehearsals didn't get great feedback because Gjon's interpretive dance failed to impress a lot of people (myself included). It was just so jarring and didn't fit this type of song I'm guessing he dropped it or changed it up for the jury show and in turn started rising again. Song-wise it's definitely one of the most worthy winning songs so hopefully the performance keeps up. |
