I voted for LA. But I don't think I missed any of them back then lmao. I think I remember that one being the most fun (from the credits).
I can't remember if I'm making this up, but I seem to remember an episode where Paul was leaving the band. It felt so real to me as a kid lmao. I'll need to watch them all again I think! Their "Back To The 50's" special is on Youtube too *.* Even in that Jo was a bitch! LMAO |

Poor Viva S Club completely missed out!!! There was an episode of that where Paul left the band (mirroring reality of course) so maybe that's what you're thinking of?
Hollywood 7 gets my vote, absolutely adored it LA 7 would be next, then Viva, then Miami I think. I'm least familiar with Miami and a lot of the teething issues really got smoothed out, plus their acting improved! |

I feel it was so weird that they had TV series, especially when it showed Paul leaving. It sort of really blurred the lines between what was real and what was fake. I mean OBVIOUSLY the events weren't real but as a kid you believe it is!
It must have been exhausting for them though, it's exhausting enough being popstars anyway with all the recording, touring and promo - never mind shooting a full length TV series on top of it! |

They had their own magazine as well, I just remembered! My sister used to collect it and you got free gifts every issue
They really were a PRODUCT, the level to which is not even seen these days. |

I think it’s just become less in your face these days. Nothing essentially changed if you look at how other bands are being marketed.

They really were the mixed Spice Girls when you look at what they delivered I mean the albums, the merchandise, the movie, the tours and even a TV series ala the monkees... you can see Simon was their manager always makes me wonder what would have happened if the girls hadn't sacked him, would we have seen a similar TV show for them...?
Anyway I have never seen Hollywood or Viva 7 they passed me by in the day which is a shame because I adored Miami 7 it's still my favourite working in that hotel! LA 7 is fab too I remember the episode where Jon get's the modelling contract the most and it turns out to be the "before the spot cream" model haha! Really wish this would get a DVD release with subtitles I would love to watch them all! This post has been edited by Spiceboy: 11th April 2020, 11:18 PM |

Oh fair enough, a shame that they don't have any other subtitles! |

I think LA 7 might have been my favourite, but it's so long since I've watched it that I can't really be sure. I only own Miami 7 as a VHS box set (I still have it!), and I remember really wanting LA 7 too but I never got it for some reason!
I remember really enjoying the first 2 series and finding it funny, but I was 11/12 at the time, so I'm not sure how well the episodes would hold up now if I watched them at 32 Maybe I'd enjoy it in a nostalgic way. I don't have strong memories of Hollywood 7 but I know I watched it. Unfortunately I didn't watch much of Viva S Club. By the time that aired I felt like I had outgrown most programmes on CBBC/CITV |
