I don't think 'Blush' will do THAT well. It will likely be top 5/10 or so but I think it's too pop hoe-ish and not really very good lacking the 'something' K3 had to be a winning contender. (disclaimer: have only heard like 10 of the other songs so far so I have no idea how much competition it has)

'Hey' was a winner in the PopJustice Song Contest for what it's worth. That isn't necessarily a good sign though, lots of winners there have done fairly poorly in BJSC. 9th sounds like it might be about right for this one.

(I think 'Blush' might be a PJSC winner as well? Was definitely near the top anyway, that's where I know it from)

'Obvious' was a PJSC winner as well, yes!

Have just looked it up and 'Blush' actually only came 4th, the top 2 of that contest were KING's 'The Greatest' and Asta's 'Wild Emotion' (30th and DNQ respectively in BJSC) though. So you can't really read a lot into that.

The most winner-y sounding song in semi 1 was Cadelicia IMO! Pupok I think will be the 'Angel' of this contest.

Dobago could also have another hit on their hands, although 'Now Bad Boy' not quite living up to its hype makes me less confident in that.

Interesting looking and comparing with these other song contests - PJSC looks way too pop for me but they've had some good entries doing well at times, seeing Iinadukeblue come 2nd there was quite amazing (at about the same time I entered it here I believe).

PJSC is essentially a Pop contest (not that I'd be complaining at times) with the odd few tracks thrown in that you'd see in NSC which would flop on its arse here.

Oslol or imaduck essentially took over my role but I'm surprised his run of entries is so consistent, even with it being anonymous (I used to be that too until I ended up quitting there).

A two horse race I would imagine between Altyr and Pupok, it certainly looks like that's where the hype is mostly going anyway. Beyond that I'd say anywhere down to and including Bhangra probably has a good shot at the top ten, though there are others even lower that I wouldn't rule out. Mulgracia are last as I would assume James won't vote

I think Altyr are a clear favourite now (I said '9th seems about right' before actually reminding myself what the song sounded like!) but Hendinia are contenders again, Dobago COULD actually get it (I think it's clicking more than 'Now Bad Boy' did) and the next 3 I think also have a shot (scaling back the hype for WEKEED a little bit but I'd be surprised if it isn't top 10 at least still). Top 10 contenders go down to about Daehun (think these still aren't THE ONES for Taahino and UVland but both might be top 20 again :'))

Ethanola are not going to come last but they're pretty much a lock for receiving the fewest votes I would think, they have absolutely no chance of actually winning. Think Suedeonia and Usfland could also get decent results but they're far too niche to have a hope of being near the top, they'll be higher than the above suggests ~ Mulgracia are a bit lower here than they'd be under normal circumstances for obvious reasons.

I reckon we'll have another month of the semi results being quite misrepresentative of the final results, not least because of the obvious genre split between the two semis.

There are also a lot more growers for me than usual this month personally I've given quite a lot of points in the final to a song that I didn't vote for in my semi.
