Yeah TBH I don't think she has done as bad as people say she has.
Of course, she hasnt sold bucket loads of records, but for a vintage artist of her size, I do think it could have been worse. Clearly BMG are playing the long game with her, which is nice! I just hope the next phase isn't this covers and Disney crap they've done this year. And she needs to be working with better producers! |

It has happened. After much annoyance, I have stopped getting twitter alerts from La Bunton.
Most of the stuff is so saccharine and boring. I coudnt care less about another tweet from the baking show, the disney stuff or any more Christmas shite. I will give a damn again if she does more music stuff. UNTIL THEN....

You can still get exciting updates from Mel C djing, Geri wearing white or Mel B on her next low rent TV show. I'll never get these girls, the world has accepted thel as a 4 piece, 90s nostalgia is so hot, anything they do as a group get a zillion times more attention but here we are.

Mel C said her album isn't coming till the end of next year, so expect lots more shitty DJ slots in random countries.

I'm just being honest, all the solo stuff is low rent and boring as f***. Emma doing the Royal Albert Hall is about as exciting as it has got solo wise for over a decade.
I mean My happy place was the first vinyl album we got solo wise since Free me #sigh As solo artists and celebs they are so boring, Mel c's last tour she wore black every night, when on the recent spice tour she looks like a super hero. They are lazy, even mel c when solo artists, they go for quick cash jobs with little effort. |

At the end of the day, it doesnt really matter that much. There are much more bigger problems in our lives than the careers of the solo Spice Girls. No sure if it has been mentioned here, but Emma did tweet that she is more confident to write new music, and Metrophonic (My Happy Place producers) also tweeted that they are working on new music with her, hinting at an all originals album
From Emma's own track record, hopefully Ms Corona pisses off quick enough so Bunton can get to the studio still this year so that we can have a new album in roughly 4 years time
