I think it would- they could at least try that considering it was/is close to the top spot.

The same goes for Fine Line; his team could have slashed the price to £4.99 during those weeks when albums sales were <10k...

The #1 on iTunes doesn't even sell 10k, a 59p reduction would probably add a few more hundred copies, and Watermelon Sugar is miles off #1. It really wouldn't make any big difference I'm afraid!

Fine Line definitely could've clinched #1 on a quieter week though, shame they didn't end up doing that.

There's only 1 day of streaming, so the effect is always less noticeable on Sunday. It'll fall as the week goes on but it's definitely on ACR if it's as low as #6.
