Before you confirm, please choose a number between 1 and 37 and post it in this thread. If the first person could also choose a number for the host for fairness that'd be great. Sometime probably later in the day I will PM you what country you have got and then you have the rest of the week to find and choose your entry. Confirm using the big link below.

Now if you are new to this concept or if you want to re-familairise yourself with it, here's how it works (paraphrased from Iz):

"You're going to become another country. Another BJSC country. The entry you will have to hunt down from this spinoff must be from an artist that has previously been sent by the country you are assigned. So say you get assigned me, South Danaelanda. You will have 50 or so artists to choose from, from Oliver Heldens to TheFatRat to Gareth Emery. But you must enter one of those artists, any song from their careers, but one of those artists. Same if you get assigned any other country.

And to make it even more interesting, it will be anonymous so that while there will be an entry from your past artists in the final lineup, you won't know who sent it and will have to play a guessing game. I'll PM you the country you get at the assignment stage, and you may not tell anyone who you have got until I have unmasked you in the results thread.

To help you in the confirmations process Bré has compiled a http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=215010 for the countries that participated last time around. It is now up to date and should give you an idea of who you could potentially be recycling.

You must confirm before 07/09 23:59 and you should have a read of the rules below.

- You may not enter any UK top 20 hit. The mods also reserve the right to veto songs that charted lower but are deemed to be well known.
- You may not enter any song by an artist with an artist forum. For example, if you are lucky enough to get Ashton, you may not send any Sugababes song. Even the 4.0 lineup.
- You may not recycle any song that has appeared in the BJSC or any of its spin-offs (please check http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=211939 http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=160533&st=0&p=4542684&#entry4542684). Any song that has been sent to another forum contest (PFSC, UP, Nuggets, Club Bizarre) may also get vetoed.
- If by chance, you have recycled an artist from the country you have been assigned previously in another BJSC, or vice versa, you are restricted from using that artist again. You are also encouraged to not send the artist that was recycled in the previous Masquerade, i.e. please don't send Elena again if you get me. I've sent loads of better artists. For reference, here's a http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=198349 of what was sent last time.

Last time was fairly interesting because I got a country that I didn't know too much about, but I managed to find 4-5 solid potentials in the end.

This time I got a country that I know fairly well, their back catalogue is AMAZING, interesting and diverse, I'm pretty sure that I'll find like 30 potentials
I already feel like a winner (although I'll bomb for sure), can't wait to start digging!
(Btw. I KNOW that searching for some artists and youtubing songs without this contest is not strictly forbidden, but normally I'm lazy to do this, so I'm happy that I'm a bit "forced" this time).

There is an act who are responsible for one of my all time favourite albums though so that's the back up plan sorted...

I've confirmed, and I'm very into this one, so glad I got the opportunity to find this *. It's not an obvious choice, I don't know if my country will be completely on board (but then, this country certainly doesn't have a typical sound so it's hard to tell!), but I hope they appreciate me going for one of their more underrated picks nonetheless.

oh no, I've only just noticed something, I knew something was going to go wrong.

it appears that I forgot to cross off the number 8 and kept it available, and as it happens two people (Oliver/Lindsey) have that number.

apologies, but one of you will have to change. you can choose which country from the ones I have left if you like, but could one of you please get back to me soon. (Lindsey has already confirmed, so if you don't mind changing your country Oliver that'd be great, I'm sure there is still at least one country left you like)

as it stands, we also need Aelandor, FARC and St. Burbia to pick numbers too and the numbers that haven't been picked yet are 6, 10, 20 and 30.

hopefully the rest of this can still run smoothly.

After an extensive trawl through this country's back catalogue, I have just confirmed too, with a probably unsurprising artist as it's the highest I'd ever pointed this nation.

This track isn't really that similar to the entry they sent sonically but it is lovely in a different way, I really should have checked more of this artist's material out at the time.

I'm thinking the same! I've found a really great song that I will probably send although I was hoping I'd be able to find one by a slightly less obvious artist

Annoyingly the one artist I was most keen to check out more songs by from this country... turns out to literally have no other songs besides the one that was sent already I've checked a few other promising less well-known artists from my country's back catalogue but sadly not really found anything I can fully get behind. Quite a toughie. x

I actually also ended up going with my first discovery this time! I don't think that was the case in the last edition of this. There were a couple especially that were challenging for the "win", but in the end I think I made the right choice cos it's my fave out of all the ones I found.

If say whoever got Dobago didn't send an entry, then "Dobago" won't be represented (sadly) but your entry will still be in the contest, as will the entry of the "country" of whoever didn't send. If that makes sense?

Hopefully we get all 39 countries sending but if someone drops out then that's tough luck on the country they were chosen to recycle.

Gahhhh. Ive been on holiday (not travelling back until later today) and thought this was closing tomorrow, hence why I entered. I'm so sorry I havent had time to properly route through the countries artists. So I just scanned through, took a name at random, checked their spotify and gone for a recent release, did myself a little teaser and if I liked it, chose it.

I'm quite happy with my find tbh, but I would've loved to explore a lil more so I apologise to the country I am representing.

I'll also give the person who sent the FARC entry the chance to send an entry for the country FARC got as a backup, that idea just came to me and it seems fairer than letting a participant just miss out on being recycled.
