Welcome to the BJSC 82 Semi Final Draw! Here is the first place to find out which semi your entry will be appearing in and also a chance for your entry to get its own introduction.

Here's some facts about time based on the upcoming mp3 packs firstly, because I love time - the longest entry is 8:09, the shortest is 2:42, the median is 3:50 and overall the entries come to 4 hours and 8 minutes.

We will start with the reveal of the host entry and the autoqualifiers at 20:40

Posted by: Jade 15th February 2016, 09:49 PM

Oh wow at 'Can't Stop Moving' ohmy.gif Very familiar with that one 'cause of it being in an advert.

Posted by: Chez Wombat 15th February 2016, 09:50 PM

Can't Stop Moving *.*.*.*.* one of my favourite blink and you miss it chart moments ever, can't believe it's been entered! I remember hearing this on the chart show in 08 and thinking it would be a massive hit! Usfland hype nonetheless~

Also my song's a swaggy instrumental too, DON'T IGNORE MINE AS THERE'S ALREADY ONE cry.gif

Posted by: ♦ ketalina ♦ 15th February 2016, 09:51 PM

oh i know that Sonny J song!!! it's one that didn't have any major points for it really but omg Usfland are DEFINITELY not dnq'ing this time?

mattias entry looks rly fun too

heart.gif

It really is tho kink.gif For those of you who might find it annoying, you just can't deal sleep.gif I think it's my favourite entry of mine after 'Calm Down'! At least that's what I think at the moment...

Posted by: Bré 15th February 2016, 09:55 PM

Oh yeah I know that Sonny J song as well (and probably most people will lol since it's been in an advert x), good song, would be nice for Usfland to finally catch a break with it ~ (if that getting through the veto wasn't catching a break enough already lawl).

Quite like the Lushington song as well from Lewbi showing it to me a while back :3

This looks like a pretty impressively diverse / interesting bunch of songs. Now to just hope they're actually good. x (I have a solid 4 or 5 songs that I want to give big points to just from the ones I know already as ever).

Posted by: Martyn 15th February 2016, 09:55 PM

Now this is all done, please head over to the Spin Off area, for the Reloaded 7 results.

Kylienips :: Sevdaliza ~ That Other Girl

ABOUT: Singer from Rotterdam, Netherlands.
FIRST APPEARANCE

not that it rly matters but I sent Sevdaliza in LXVIII - sadly dnq'd sad.gif but that makes two of my artists reappearing here after Embody!

have to say I can't rly tell which entry was the 50th entry that skirted the veto - Jess Mills, Metronomy, Sonny J AND Chairlift all make a case for it, surprised they weren't veto worthy? (possibly I missed an explanation in the lil comments, I was kinda skim-reading)

overall seems like an exciting bunch, a few artists I know but not their songs like Sofi de la Torre and Lushington, so plenty to explore!

in case no one knows - it wasn't in my blurb - Penn in MOTHXR is Penn Badgley of Gossip Girl fame *.* considered them quite a while back with their debut song 'Victim' so this has been a while coming!

Daniel forgot to mention one detail:

Crystalyne's frontwoman is Marissa Dattoli, who represented Triangledonia as a featured vocalist on Every Last Chance's "Spotlight".

Posted by: Noahspike 15th February 2016, 11:35 PM

Ooh, a few familiar artists and songs here, with Daehun being a strong contender for my top points I'd imagine. I actually considered sending 'Come' but then saw that the song was currently #1 on French iTunes and has over seven million views on YouTube so decided against it. cool.gif

(shade v much intended)

Lovely to see the return of the showcase <3. Brilliant presentation, Dan(iel #votedesbuanda)!

Posted by: 🌚🌚🌚 15th February 2016, 11:38 PM

moth to the flame tho?? like it prob getting my 18 already but that's why I'm confused it's not more obvious and well known?

Posted by: LexDANCE 16th February 2016, 03:04 AM

Plz Support Sofi de la Torre is v good and v hyped.

And soz Klum, I'd initially picked 'Mess' but figured this was the most competitive of all the songs on her EP (although it was all very good tbqh). Sofislay!

Posted by: dhwe 16th February 2016, 03:14 AM

I was on a plane while this was all happening but omg at Sofi! *.* <33333 I was thinking of sending in "Vermillion" as my debut months ago but never followed through with it, but I'm glad to see her getting the recognition she deserves.

I haven't heard the others yet, bar Chairlift (also *.*), but I'll start tonight before I sleep!
