As much as it pains me to say it, as I'm sure it will pain Tom as well, I'm afraid you need to have been on Buzzjack 6 months before entering
 Obviously there's nothing to stop you having a national thread and building up interest before then, but them's the rules I'm afraid. |

6 months seems really long...

It's rules so I guess we have to stick with it
 Already got a bunch of songs lined up for the contest in 2 months time, just to ask people here, do ballads fare well in the competition? I got this beautiful ballad which im not sure if it will do well then. |

Asian pop is very hit and miss in BJSC isn't it? From what I've seen it can go either way! Oh, and welcome Oricon, I'm also glad to see anoter Asian pop fan

I don't get why there's a 6 month period before one can join the contest, is there a reason for this?

Although looking back through the list of songs last night, I remembered Leonville and Camtoro. They turned out to be the same user, but I think we suspected for months on end to the extent it became a bit of a running joke
 It didn't really matter since they were both crap anyway...simpler times...

Are people that serious to put in multiple countries in order just to win?
Thought this was just a bit of fun and to discover new music and to let others new music from your entry, not for intensive competition battle styled theme

Well I got 2 months to plan but I think I already know which song i'll enter at June, I looked at some of the Buzzjack Song Contest entries and realised the majority of them had some kind of dance/electro beat so I think skipping ballads is a good idea since most people might get bored of it
Are there any ballads however which perform quite well on BJSC before? |
