I keep on almost shedding a tear when 'Antadena' comes on, it is so unbelievably sincere and touching.

My expectations were sky high after the recent obsession with 'LMK' and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The title track, 'Enough', 'Better', 'S.O.S.', 'Blue Light', 'Turn To Dust' and 'Altadena' are instant favourites. wub.gif Queen.

Best female R&B record I've listened to since 'Aquarius'. Cannot get over how much she reminds me of the late, great, Aaliyah heart.gif

A gorgeous album, vocally & production-wise (which is very intricate and atmospheric). Reminiscent of a 90s Janet & Aaliyah. wub.gif

I'm excited to check out the album after LMK and now I've heard Frontline too. Both absolutely amazing!

I know this is 15 minutes long but it is so worth a watch as it really puts the album in context and makes me love the record so much more. Seeing her being so frank and open throughout and get emotional when talking about 'Enough' and 'Bluff' really got to me. She really wears her heart on her sleeve and she just feels so human. I don't know, she is just so real and I love her.

I listened to this album once so far (I'm a fan since the Hallucinogen EP) and it was really good and I knew it would be - I love her voice, the production, the way they mesh and she seems to have progressed with her soundscapes a lot over the last few years. And she's definitely very "real".

I'll watch that video soon, thanks - here's a short one I watched where she gets a Tarot reading lol (it's kinda more about her own values and vulnerability than voodoo)

So this entered at #51 on the album chart today. Deserved so much more but that's not too bad for her as she hasn't had any hits here.

Going to have to get it on vinyl at some point!
