I'll update the albums section soon!

Ariana's weeks in the Top 200:

#7, 21 weeks - Yours Truly (1 more week since the last update)
#3, 315 weeks - My Everything (3 more weeks since the last update)
#1, 223 weeks - Dangerous Woman (6 more weeks since the last update)
#1, 109 weeks - Sweetener (2 more weeks since the last update)
#1, 131 weeks - thank u, next (8 more weeks since the last update)
#135, 2 weeks - k bye for now (swt live)
#1, 73 weeks - Positions (25 more weeks since the last update)
#1, 4 weeks (so far) - eternal sunshine

I just need to find all of those chart positions!

I had a quick look and I'm surprised to see that none of her previous albums re-entered the Top 200 when eternal sunshine entered at #1, and they haven't in the weeks that have followed. Yet My Everything, Dangerous Woman & thank u, next all re-entered when 'yes, and?' came out!

I've finally updated the thread in its entirety! cheeseblock.png

It's a pity that we don't have more recent sales totals for Yours Truly, Sweetener and Positions... I'm still feeling salty that Music Week only gave a figure for My Everything x

Here's what we know:

581,902 - My Everything (15th March 2024)
494,000 - thank u, next (1st March 2024) [from an article published by OCC on 5th March 2024]
486,000 - Dangerous Woman (1st March 2024) [from an article published by OCC on 5th March 2024]
377,862 - Sweetener (11th March 2022)
197,339 - Positions (27th May 2022)
133,823 - Yours Truly (6th August 2021)
75,317 - eternal sunshine (5th April 2024)

Some estimations! -

440,000 - Sweetener
Less than 300,000 - Positions (because we know it isn't Platinum yet - but I'd be surprised if it's not getting close by now)
170,000 - Yours Truly

I assume Dangerous Woman has passed 490k, I don't think thank u, next will quite have made it to 500k yet and My Everything must be close to 585k.

Considering how successful Ariana is, it feels surprising that she's yet to achieve a multi-platinum album! My Everything will definitely achieve that a bit later this year.

Aside from eternal sunshine what’s recently released is My Everything her album with the most weekly sales now or is that thank u, next?

I do hope that it’lll get to 600K at some point this year. Whilst her sales may look “low” compared to other pop icons I think they’re pretty strong and consistent for the streaming era.

Like these days 600K copies of an album is what 1m+ was like in the 00s decade. Hopefully by year end she’ll have three albums on 500K+. What’s interesting re Ariana is that I imagine her catalogue in general streams well but it’s all split across different eras where as other artists have that one big peak era (like say Teenage Dream).

New update today, ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love)’ becomes Ari’s latest silver single after 5 weeks of charting 🤍
