A new teaser is up. Starts in the US on February 27th and will be on iPlayer the next day
oh how divine
I feel like it really fell off last season, I don't think I even finished it oops! I wil watch the final series though.
Omg did I finish season 3?? Don't thjnk so
the biggest issue is that it changes main writer every season, i’m hyped for this though
Yeah, I didn't enjoy season 2 and 3 as much as the first but I'm still so excited for this. Miles ahead of much else on TV.
A trailer for you all,
I thought at least s3 was better than s2
Yes, Series 3 was a distinct improvement on Series 2.
no way series 2 >
very slow start
I found my interest waning during the episode. Makes sense for it to be the final season really. I struggled to even remember what happened in the last season despite the recap
I just get bored of the whole sarcastic tone to the main characters to be honest!
why is nothing happening
my bet is carolina being the 12 leader
wtaf was that ending
horrible rushed episode and a very much of a filler season
There seems to have been a lot of plot elements designed purely to give characters air time when they weren't really warranted for the story. All of that church stuff at the beginning couple of episodes should have been completely canned to give the rest of the series more room to develop.
we never received any answers too? Who was the leader of the 12?
Why did Carolyn do what she did
I'm gonna watch the finale tomorrow when it goes up on iPlayer but I just want to say now I 100% am not ready for the ending after reading the spoiler for it
I'm gonna need some emotional support x
What was that!!
They left that so open ended for a final episode? Are we just to presume Carolyn is the head of the 12? Did Villainelle actually kill them all and Carolyn just has her own agenda? What was her need to kill Villainelle?! Was Eve presumed dead as well? What was the point in killing off Konstantin?? I want a refund!
Not another series killing off a queer character minutes after they've finally found happiness, it's especially disappointing knowing there were queer writers in the writers room and there's literally no good reason to take that move from a storytelling point of view either unless it's to "punish" eve for straying from her boring life but like???? Naw I'm not happy fs Killing Eve!!
nah we were never unviled to who was in the 12 which makes no sense, the writer says it was mainly an agenda for Carolyn to get back with M16
That's so stupid because the whole season was about them getting to the 12 they should have put that as a back story, wrapped that up before the final two episodes and then brought Carolyn and her MI6 agenda to the forefront but still have it in each episode running up to the end, I don't even think Eve or Villainelle would have stopped Carolyn going back, they weren't even a threat to her they were legit doing the same thing as far as the 12 were concerned??
yeh even the actresses are confused and don't have an actual answer when they are being interviewed
Jodie shaded the ending and rightly so, It would have been better had Villaneve got together a couple of episodes into the season and even had Villanele died quickly into the final episode so we can explore Eve's reaction, instead we just got the end so we can get a Carolyn spin off.
Isn’t the Carolyn spin off supposed to be a prequel though? So it really shouldn’t have mattered about how she ended the series.
In general though I complete echo what you guys are saying, it was such an anticlimax. Would have been so much better for them to have worked together this series as we’ve never really had that dynamic. Helene was sacrificed too simply and Konstantin should have survived
Apparently the book ending is totally different, Eve and Villainelle stay together and Villainelle even gets a degree in linguistics
the way jodie and sandra haven’t even posted about the finale
I think the biggest issue with Killing Eve is the constant change of lead writers tbh
I'm just going to pretend Killing Eve was an incredible limited series by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and everything after it didn't happen x
That’s the thing - the following 3 series may as well have not happened as the ending was almost identical with, in retrospect, nothing of any significance happening between!
This season really should have been Villanelle and Eve actually being together at least the audience would have been satisfied with one of their deaths, we should have had an unmasking of the twelve almost every episode and seen them working together instead we got the same old pointless storylines and them together for five minutes and it to end, but yeh the actresses seem to be pissed at the ending and Pheobe must be FURIOUS
I was moderately interested in seeing if they can pull it back after the extremely disappointing Season 3 but...I think I can gather from the general reaction they haven't quite done that Not gonna bother with it now, each season has been a step down from the last to the point I can't be bothered to trudge through it all just to get (disappointing) closure. What a shame, file it next to Game of Thrones going forward I guess...
Jodie has even unfollowed laura from Insta, what a queen
I'm pretty sure that was the last season, the spin off is absolutely gonna bomb lmao
Should I bother watching the series, or even just the last episode, oe hard pass??
And where can I find oot all this Jodie drama, like her shade and unfollowing etc? Articles online are just praising the "coueageous ending"!!!
Whilst I enjoyed this season, the last episode was the worst ending of tv I've ever seen, even beating Game of Thrones.
It was a boring series as expected!
the author of the books has slammed the ending
finally watched the last episode, terrible ending, cannot think of a worst way they could have ended this
