Preview: https://www.kkbox.com/hk/en/album/-rxVCRZ51XBjKBDvnM I like TRTM way! Regarding Eternity I think it's impossible to make it better than itself. it has been a 10/10 song. I agree, I love that version of TRTM, sounds wonderful. You are right about Eternity, it's hard to beat the original including the great video they made at the time I do think that the album will tour well, it will be wonderful to hear the songs with a full orchestra playing along , at least I assume that will be the case. I am also hoping we will see him do some proper promo on a few tv shows around Europe |

Yes!
I so do like TRTM version. It's so so nostalgic... You know, that TRTM itself is a very sad song but the melody of the original gave us a happiness. Now the new version fits very well to its lyrics. Masterpiece. Especially since 3:10 and then... Hello James Bond. This post has been edited by Better Man: Jul 8 2022, 08:21 PM |

The original is so beautiful ( the video a classic ) , one of the best songs he has ever written imo but the new version is a real grower , starts off slow & gets better as the song grows |

I see Nobody Someday appears on the new album. I am real interested to see what they have done with it, the songs always had a real melancholy feel to it . Pleased they decided to include it in the album .

I think when he recorded the original version of Nobody Someday - he was in bad place.
Re-recorded with his life turned 180 degrees around will be interesting to hear. |

robbiewilliams “Mandalay sounds completely different to the original, and I think the result is epic” The original versions of 'Eternity' & 'The Road To Mandalay' were released 21 years ago this week as a double A-side. Listen to the new versions now and pre-save ‘XXV’ on @applemusic |

I think when he recorded the original version of Nobody Someday - he was in bad place. Re-recorded with his life turned 180 degrees around will be interesting to hear. I am sure the song meant a lot to Robbie , I wonder how they developed it . I think it had loads of potential. The lyrics are amazing Love the demo version here Nobody Someday I'm a gigolo, I'm Joseph, I'm a sad lad in song I'm everybody that I know And being known for being wrong And if I'm not mistaken This is my heart breaking I'm the man that threw it all away Destiny is calling, telling me to be boring And I don't care anyway, Gonna be nobody someday Gonna be nobody someday I'm the demon that you fear I'm the joker, I'm the thief I'm the lonesome cowboy ridin' I'm the Indian chief Gotta watch my figure Boy, if I get much bigger They'll stick a pin in me And I'll blow away But I get richer While they take my picture Taking my soul away Gonna be nobody someday Gonna be nobody someday I'm a moonlight serenade I'm your bed when you are cold I'm the captain of Titanic I'm the passenger in the hall From the way I'm thinking We'll both be sinking I knew before we sailed away Hit the tip of my eagle It's all you saw anyway Gonna be nobody someday Gonna be somebody Gonna be somebody, la la la |

I love this album by George.
It has been a fantastic work with LP and with orchestra on tour. George had such a big voice... Very sad. Not sure Rob is going to give a such quality this time tbh but still hope for the best. This post has been edited by Better Man: Jul 12 2022, 09:10 PM |

Not sure Rob is going to give a such quality this time tbh but still hope for the best. That is gorgeous . If Rob has an orchestra with him which I am expecting he will as otherwise what's the point of touring this album without them then he will have to take it seriously & not act the goose , he can be serious when he wants to love that song by GM , sad he's gone, he was a great performer |

robbiewilliams I can’t believe ‘Lazy Days’ was released 25 years ago today on the 14th July, 1997. This newly orchestrated version has given it a new life and it honestly kicks ass. Pre-order XXV now from robbiewilliams.com x |
