Out now!

Posted by: Theonix 28th March 2019, 07:39 AM

Do you mean Monet?! laugh.gif This is super exciting though, given her Victoria's involvement in Thank U, Next

Posted by: Wall 28th March 2019, 07:59 AM

Victoria Monet has worked a lot with Zara too and Ariana always seems to be in the studio which is why people are teasing a collab, so interested to hear this.

Posted by: Jack 28th March 2019, 08:30 AM

Victoria has a lot of bops so I'm interested in this. So cute of Ariana to help out her friend get success, she's a real one.

Posted by: Neil 1st April 2019, 09:03 PM

It's cute but I don't think I'll be listening to it again.

Posted by: LewisGT 1st April 2019, 09:09 PM

Tune!

Posted by: Jonjo 1st April 2019, 09:30 PM

I like this. It's v cute.

Posted by: Jack 1st April 2019, 10:08 PM

So cute, love the video too! Wouldn't mind it being a low key hit.

Posted by: troylovesmusic 1st April 2019, 10:10 PM

Both the song and video are cute I like smile.gif

Posted by: Cqmerqn 1st April 2019, 10:54 PM

Not a big fan!

EDIT: Nvm, the music video makes this iconic.

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 2nd April 2019, 07:00 PM

This is really not good.

Posted by: LMLou 2nd April 2019, 07:07 PM

Yea I like the video but can’t see myself ever going back to the song
Don’t even think name power will make this a long lasting hit

Posted by: Juliano 2nd April 2019, 08:33 PM

Okay... I heard it. Meh.

Posted by: davidas 3rd April 2019, 04:19 PM

Really bad sad.gif

Posted by: Theonix 3rd April 2019, 05:47 PM

It's taken me a couple of listens but I love this now! The chorus is so catchy, the "I like women and men" line in particular I can see going off in a (gay) club *.*

Posted by: JosephAvery 3rd April 2019, 08:47 PM

It's cute and I think it'll become quite an earworm although definitely not as good as any single in the past two eras!

Posted by: Jack 3rd April 2019, 10:38 PM

I think it's quite clear it's just something fun they've done together as close friends and not something to be taken too seriously, that's what I'm getting from it anyway.

That’s exactly what it is . I don’t even think it’s a single just a song they wanted to put out for fun as 7 rings is number 1 for 7 weeks on Billboard .

added straight to bbc radio 1 a-list

How?! You know it has slightly grown on me though.

Posted by: Jαsє 5th April 2019, 10:08 PM

Just awful :/

Posted by: Euphorique 7th April 2019, 01:23 PM

Kiss FM have also added this to their playlist...

Posted by: lotita 7th April 2019, 06:39 PM

this is SUCH a bop

Posted by: Jade 10th January 2020, 10:17 PM

(just realised I never posted in this thread at the time, I found this extremely underwhelming at first but it grew a little eventually. The video was instantly fun though!)

Posted by: Slick 11th January 2020, 12:07 PM

This was really average and disappointing compared to what Ariana is capable of. NEVER MIND.

Posted by: LewisGT 1st April 2020, 10:26 AM

It's been one year since Ariana's most cruelly underappreciated single was released. I still love this so much, it's still sounding fresh as ever to me. wub.gif

Happy birthday to 'MONOPOLY'!

I'm forever grateful for it providing this moment in the video:

Posted by: JulianNial 1st April 2020, 06:16 PM

This is one that really grew on me, I really didn't like it at first, one day I heard it in Camden and I found myself singing along and with the song in my head the rest of the day.

And YES Jade, that moment is iconic.

Posted by: Jade 1st April 2022, 05:28 PM

So it's already been three years since the 'thank u, next' era tailed off and we were getting standalone singles for a while instead!

Posted by: Jade 1st April 2023, 11:27 AM

Four years since this dropped during Ari's most prolific year to date:

Still garbage

Posted by: LewisGT 1st April 2023, 06:15 PM

Honestly, it's one of her songs I go back to most.

Really underrated. It's just so fun!

Posted by: Jade 1st April 2024, 08:02 PM

This turns 5 today! I'm glad it gave Victoria a top 40 hit to her name.
