Well there's certainly no doubt about who has the #1 album this week... some chance he'll have at least one more in the top 10 as well? This is probably the biggest musician death since Whitney if not since Michael Jackson.

Kobbar-esque I know but has anyone ever died the week their new album is about to head to No.1? I hope the album's No.1 debut isn't attributed by the media to his death and is recognised as getting there on merit. |

Awful news, I'd expect to see Heroes, Let's Dance and possibly Starman, Ashes to Ashes and Lazarus in the Top 40 on Friday.

Really sad news re Bowie, bought his last Album on Friday (and it is a fitting tribute).
Looks like "Life On Mars?" may be the highest charting song this week - would also love "Where Are We Now?" as a poignant song to do well. Both songs with a question in the title seem appropriate this morning. R.I.P, a true legend. |
