The Loco Motion from Golden Live is strong, and gives the song a modern sound.
Kylie's original however, remains the best. |

Great to see some locoo motion love for a change as it always gets low rankings here in general.

1. I Should Be So Lucky
2. Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi 3. Got to Be Certain 4. Turn It into Love 5. The Loco-Motion 6. It’s No Secret I will be doing a thread for every Kylie album every 5 or so days & for some of the other albums such as 'KM94' & 'KMO' which only have a small amount of singles I will include 'Where The Wild Roses Grow' for the KM94 era & 'Crystalize' for the KMO album, when I get to them of course & maybe the cancelled releases such as 'Sexy Love' & 'Beautiful', I know they weren't singles, but considering there was only 2 from that album it would be pointless doing a ranking & just thought I'd make things more interesting. Combining songs onto the albums you outlined is the best option when the singles from these such albums were in smaller quantities in comparison to other albums.

During this era of music, the 4 single release strategy was applied to most albums.
With Kylie's huge popularity and song quality, Turn It Into Love would have followed it's predecessors into the Top 10 region of the chart. |

It prob would have as she was a big seller but it was rarely ever done then plus SAW always seemed to have stuck with the 4 single rule.

1) Turn It Into Love
2) I Should Be So Lucky 3) Got To Be Certain 4) The Loco-Motion 5) Je ne sais pas pourquoi 6) It's No Secret Near enough in order of release with the exception of my top choice. The top three are the only ones I'd really return to - 'Turn It Into Love' is an early example of that glittery pop sound that Kylie would perfect in later years whilst 'I Should Be So Lucky' and 'Got to Be Certain' are both really catchy pop records. 'The Loco-motion' is a school-disco fave so is great in a party environment but I just wouldn't seek it out to listen to in my own time; 'Je ne sais pas pourquoi' is cute and gives a sense of maturity to the album but again not one I'd return to; and 'It's No Secret' kinda annoys me. |

I dont think there are many fans who dont rate turn it into love highly, it was always a popular song, kylie would have had a far bigger hit with it than hazel dean even it was a fifth single I still think kylie would have done better with it.I wonder was it that they wanted to keep kylies top 5 streak going and thought it wouldnt as a 5th single but at the same time wanted it released.

I imagine it was more to do with 'Especially for You' coming along and then wanting to move onto the next era.

Ya that would make sense to as I dont associate especially for you with her debut album it also wasnt on my enjoy yourself album either due to some cassettes having mix ups.
