Hi Riser!
Nice to see "Rain On Me" at #1, I also like "Break My Heart" and "In Your Eyes" in the top 10 and the debuts for "Secrets", "Dinner Guest", "ILY (I Love You Baby)", "Be Kind", "Breaking Me" and "Think About Things"! Great chart! |

Sup Jordan!
1. Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande – Rain On Me A Gaga Top 2 I think you can guess what I'm gonna ask next... when's the last time the top two were occupied by the same artist?! 2. Lady Gaga – Stupid Love [16-11-4-2] 3. DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch – Rockstar [8-3] 5. Saint Jhn – Roses (Imanbek Remix) [25-17-13-7-5] 6. Dua Lipa – Break My Heart [24-14-6] 7. The Weeknd – In Your Eyes [23-13-7] 15. Regard & Raye – Secrets This never properly clicked with me I'm afraid but I'm very surprised by how well it's doing officially, I wouldn't have predicted Top 10 for it. 16. Ava Max – Kings & Queens [24-16] 17. Powfu feat. Beabadoobee – Death Bed (Coffee For Your Head) [6-4-2-17] 19. Katy Perry – Daisies [30-19] 22. Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber – Stuck With U [37-22] 23. Sam Smith & Demi Lovato – I’m Ready [19-23] 25. Young T & Bugsey feat. Headie One – Don’t Rush [15-25] 26. Sam Fischer – This City This is nice enough, and I feel like it's one of those songs that hasn't been a massive hit but most people know it. 27. Harry Styles – Watermelon Sugar [16-8-23-x-27] So impressive for him to go Top 10 with a third post-album single, kinda defies all logic I don't think it's my favourite single from the era but I'm pleased for its success. I wish more post-album songs would do this well! 28. 5 Seconds Of Summer – Old Me [13-1-5-28] 30. Topic & A7S – Breaking Me Definitely one of my favourite dance songs of the year, love the melody and the vocals and pretty much everything about it 31. JP Saxe feat. Julia Michaels – If The World Was Ending [28-21-31] 32. Little Mix – Break Up Song [25-12-32] 34. Niko B – Who’s That What’s That I quite like this, and I think it's because he reminds me a bit of Professor Green I'm liking less than usual this month I think - hopefully you'll come back next month with some pop bangers |

It might be the first time actually! Although I've had two artists replace themselves at #1 before (Charli XCX in 2014 with 'Fancy' and 'Boom Clap' and Ariana Grande in 2016 with 'Into You' and 'Side To Side'), so it could've happened one of those times 15. I'm not too surprised, Meduza followed up his #2 hit with a #11 so I figured Regard could do the same or a bit better. I'm glad to see it! 26. Honestly "nice enough" would be my exact opinion too 27. I wish the same, nice to see that it's still possible! 30. Oh wow! While it's not a fave of mine I think it stands out and feels just a bit different from other hits right now, in a good way. 34. Interesting, I wouldn't have thought of that comparison myself! I'd be interested to hear Professor Green cover it No worries, it felt like a boring music month for me and I struggled to make a list of 40 songs this time! Hopefully I'll catch up on new music between now and then |

Lots of goodies as always - I see myself taking out the rappier tracks - mainly cos I never get to hear them on radio, and buy tracks on one listen these days. I daresay some of them might grow on me with repeat listens, I feel so out of touch Plus side I know I'm going to like a Thomas Rhett or Keith Urban track even before I've heard it cheers! |

Hi Jordan! But how do you know they're rap if you haven't listened to them Pretty much all of them were massive growers for me so you have a point there. I actually meant to add the video link to the Troye song - here it is! Thanks for commenting John |
