The trailer came out for this just this morning and it looks quite fun. The cast includes Robert Redford and Bryce Dallas-Howard and it is a remake of the old Disney classic from 1977. A bit sad they got rid of the pink on the dragon but it's still nice to see it get a modern remake. |

I saw this in a Disneyland 60th anniversary special on TV and it was pretty interesting. Like George Of The Jungle meets How To Train Your Dragon in a way.

The original always seemed to be a forgotton Disney film so I was VERY surprised when they announced the remake and indeed, going by the trailer, it looks a lot different. It is still an underrated classic </3

This was quite cute, had all the right heart-warming moments you expect from Disney nowadays but I must say it is one of the worse of their remakes imo. The ending did get me and I was almost tearing up when it all came full circle but there was something about the majority of the characters that made them unlikeable, the only one I fully liked was Natalie actually and Pete was cute at times. The dragon CGI was solid and I'm glad this got a re-invented modern version in the end but I do feel it could have been better. I preferred every other movie from this year :/
