Even as a comedy character I never found him funny.

Natalie Cassidy and Shona McGarty delivered fantastic performances last night. Put these two at the forefront of the show!

Sonia is amazing when they use her well. For years I wondered why they bothered bringing her back but she’s actually been amazing since Natalie returned from maternity leave.

It just shows the importance of good scripts, Sonia had been totally underused,.

This!!!
Sonia was genuinely one of my least favourites for years but now she’s one of my favourites. She might be my most improved soap character of the year tbh. Whitney though meh. Shona is not a bad actress but Whitney has had the same story repeated time and time and time again. Failed relationship after relationship she’s either cheating or getting cheated on. She’s EastEnders version of Maria from CS. I don’t think she’ll ever leave now but if you’ve ever heard her voice it’s a wonder why she hasn’t wanted to do something in theatre she’d be really good. Shr's probably just really sensible in real life, and EE is far more steady work.

Yes Maria and whitney are both the same style of character and both likely never to leave unless axed. |

Fair play to her for getting a steady job to support her kids. I haven’t missed her on screen at all.
Still want to find out what happened behind the scenes. |

I hate the way this is news.
She has a job which should be applauded but it’s basically taking the p!ss out of not just her but pretty much everyone who works a usual 9-5 like job it’s horrible. Fair play to her for actually working and not just living off her EE Fame. I have to say I miss her character despite her being slightly overused I didn’t want her to just be hushed off screen the way she was. I hope to see her back one day. But I’ve always felt something happened behind the scenes because it was so odd. She was basically like the New Ben Mitchell of the show it felt like they were pushing her to be the next star / main character then it just amounted to nothing. |

Something must have happened behind the scenes as they were lining Hayley up for long term, as her time on the show was all pushed to the front.
I applaud her for going out to work to support her kids like anyone else and it is unfair how the press are belittling her job. |

I'm not fully getting how Ben has such a hold on Martin, there is a few flaws there and not sure where the storyline is leading to.
