Super excited for this! Brings back so many great memories. I love the art style they've gone for.

I don’t think I’ve cried so much at a game announcement

I have the original BRT/RRT and the Mystery Dungeon series is probably my favorite Pokémon spinoff of all time (as well as XD Gale Of Darkness) so seeing this was such a hit in the feels. Also helps that I follow Goldenbolt (another Pokemon LP Channel) and he amps up the experience for the watcher lmao

I swear the originals were never this hard, I'm really struggling after I've been kicked out of the town to go on the run drama.gif

The game gives you avenues to grind and do missions before you fight boss levels, at least that’s what it was like in the OG series. I think it also gives you less EXP than the OG’s do as well? (from what I’ve seen in playthroughs)

I didn't get enough time to do that plus like now I've been chased out of town I can't even grind or do missions to get good items lmao unless I'm being dumb af

I should have used that while I could laugh.gif I'm in Lapis Cave and keep getting f***ed over by those Nidorino with Focus Energy and Double Kick who end up doing like 30 odd damage with one kick :/ I remember in the old games if you died in one of the dungeons while you were being chased out of town, you got knocked down to some other dungenon, I think there was Rock Path and Ice Path, and there were weaker enemies there but it was enough to let you grind a bit and tackle the main dungeon again.

I get that they're not necessarily needed as you can overlevel in the Dojo, but it's kinda bad game design that you can easily be locked out of levelling if you need to in a situation like this. I'm having to go rescue myself with the Pokemon I have left in camps but that means I have do the whole say 10 floors again and then carry on with my main two. I am nearly at the top but it's just tedious now.
