Here it is! The moment about three of you have been waiting for - sign up time for the latest spin off to come at you for 2022.

If you are not familiar with this particular spin-off or have simply forgotten what the script is, please read on for further detail.

You will be given another country from the Buzzjack Song Contest map to compete as. Your job is to find an entry from their back catalogue to send to this particular contest. You can choose any artist they've sent to any contest whether its from the main contest or another spin-off, for example if you were given Taahino you may want to look at other songs by one of the numerous guitar based bands with female vocalists they've sent... The country you are given will be selected at random and messaged to you privately once the confirmation period has begun. You mustn't tell anyone who you are masquerading as, all will be revealed in due course.

Now, to ensure the people participating also get one of their own previous artists sent we're going to do sign ups in here so PLEASE make sure you do confirm an entry if you voice you're interest in here so that nobody is disappointed by their lack of representation.

Of course there are a few more rules I need to outline just now as I'm sure you'll expect.

1. No UK Top 20s
2. No Artists with an Artist Forum
3. No songs that have already been sent to any forum song contest
4. No artists that you may have already sent yourself

* please note these are veto guidelines and songs may be rejected on another basis decided by mod discretion.

So we are gonna be working to quite a flexible schedule bc we're chill right? So the time periods for each stage will be given when the threads go up x

I'm putting the sign up deadline as Sunday 10/04 23:59 provisionally - I'm hoping we'll get a good amount of interest in over the weekend since I'm not expecting you to find an entry in less than three days, simply just promise me that you will at some point in the near future!! I am willing to be a bit flexible on that though

What I might do is have a list of kinda inactive nations that are very unlikely to participate in this so that if anyone does want to enter once the confirmations are up but they haven't signed up they can but under the understanding nobody will be sending a song from one of their past artists and they'll get a country from the inactive list.
