1 Juno
2 No Country for Old Men
3 Atonement

Not seen the other two but by the looks of things this was a really strong year for nominees. All of these are pretty even for me but Juno just edges it as it appealed to my humour and ended up being the more entertaining of the three films too. Atonement is one of the most gripping period dramas I've ever seen and NCFOM is a modern classic - I think it was definitely the right choice of winner.

Not that they really stood any chance of actually being nominated in this year but I adored Sweeney Todd, The Assassination of Jesse James and La Vie en Rose too and would've been in my ballot if I was a voter (Ratatouille would've been fab too, I far prefer that to Up and Toy Story 3 which did make the Best Picture line up - I guess this could have done so too if it wasn't still limited to five nominees at the time). wub.gif

I've only seen Juno of them and even that's a bit "eh" laugh.gif
