Jesus, that entire set was so tense. Very nervous for the final set now, can still see Serena winning but it's a great achievement for Heather to take it to a third set in the first place.

Side note: while watching earlier today I discovered a new favourite: Zarina Diyas - lovely eccentric serve on her.

Serena is completely rattled - this is an amazing game. I cannot believe Heather clawed her way back into it, midway at the beginning of the second set I thought she was completely beaten.

Tuned in 3-0 up in the final set as soon as I heard about it! Some seriously impressive athleticism, defensive play and mental strength on display from Heather. A real shame she couldn't quite close it out but WHAT an exciting match!

2 points away from British sporting history and a moment that would've rivalled London 2012's Super Saturday, but Heather was still absolutely sensational. What a match!

That was an utterly fantastic game from Heather, she's very talented and it's a shame she couldn't quite pull it into a win but amazing to come so close.

One of the best matches we've seen in the women's draw this year. The best British female player performance at Centre Court for a long time. A truly inspired valiant gutsy effort from Heather Watson against one of the greatest female tennis players we've seen. Serena said in her interview that Heather could easily be amongst the Top20 in the next two years or so.

Heather providing she doesn't any long-term injuries can only get better.

Yeah, was nice to hear Serena speak about Heather needing to raise her expectations regarding her potential to climb way up the rankings. Also very interesting that Serena considers the match one of her toughest ever wins on Centre Court. ohmy.gif

Hopefully Heather will raise her expectations higher following her performance at Wimbledon and can build on this. Looking ahead she'd want to win a couple of matches at the US Open although she has never won a match there.

That was such a good game of tennis. While it must be gutting to lose - Heather Watson played so well. Much better than I thought she ever could. If she can build on this, it's such a massive platform. She pushed Serena really hard. Great effort from her.

She really should have done by now. She is playing a lot better now and also won the Girl's US Open in 2009.

And now Kvitova has been knocked out of a very useful player in Jelena Jankovic who beat the World No2 3-6 7-5 6-4.

A valiant effort from James Ward who lost in five sets to Vasek Pospisil. He had led 2 sets to 1. But a very good effort from him this Wimbledon.

And now Seppi has taken the third set 6-1. It is now 2 sets to 1 to Murray.

Great final set from Andy Murray. Definitely entertaining. Good effort from Seppi.

Murray will play Ivo Karlovic in the fourth round who he has yet to lose to.

Massive swings in momentum after those medical timeouts. Hmm.

Those last few games after Murray came back were great to watch though.
