Strong quality this month, really struggled to decide how to vote as I love 14 entries in Semi 1. Very sad not to be able to vote for four of them, and difficult to order everything else, my 1-4 pointers were close in quality, as were my 5-12 pointers. I had to do quite a few repeat listens of them all to decide! Loads of great discoveries this month.

Semi 2 is also really good, and way more varied, though Semi 1 is more to my personal taste.

I enjoyed semi 1 much more than I expected from it being the 'pop semi', certainly hoping semi 2 will be better but I have a fairly strong top 15 from semi 1 (though the top 2 are miles ahead of everything else) and a handful more that I quite liked beyond that too. My music taste is feeling even more charitable than ever I guess. x

Sending some hype over to Ultraviolenceland ohmy.gif really surprised at how much I enjoyed that one and people on plug.dj mostly weren't backing me up on that, it's very Lana Del Rey covering Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game' but in the best way possible xx Hype as well to Aeroche, Arcodesia, Bøtanikkä and Jupiterdonia among others cool.gif

Also really quite enjoyed Scherzland and am mystified as to why this wasn't one of the singles Gemini Rising dropped before their album - I only found out they existed the other week and I listened through all of the previously released singles and didn't care at all for any of them but this one is a lot better.

Whereas SF2 has a song that I described as "a cheerful Lana Del Rey".

I might as well echo the Jupiterdonia hype and also add Utopia and Rolloland! 🧡 Could mention several others of course but hopefully you semi 1 folks can put those through, I'd imagine Jupiterdonia is the most likely to qualify out of the three, even in that semi.

Zero cool.gif (2 woots, I'd have been a third, I still have no idea what W.I.T.C.H. is but it has a pretty good theme song lol). Basically half of semi 1 got 0-2 woots oop xx

Will aim to vote after doing a relisten tomorrow but semi 2 is quite a bloodbath as I thought it might be (and that's kind of literal with how many spooky entries there are xx), at least 13 songs I really want to vote for. Hype 4 Deandria, Espen, Quintessa, Summericia and Trifoski as well as the ones I hyped earlier in the thread xx

Voted, Semi 1 was a bloodbath, I could have voted for at least 5 to 8 more tracks. I couldn't leave it any longer to get my votes in, as I'm pretty busy for the rest of the week. Its a shame because there are so many good tracks, just not going to have any more time to give them another listen.
