More than 75% of the cast being white clearly isn’t enough

Does seem odd that it would be on the side of the Beale's house, but at least we're getting some representation of actual London.
Presumably there will be a replica on the new set too? |

I don't miss this incarnation of Stacey. Grumpy, moody mum of 12. She gives me Pauline vibes. I hope when she comes back she's a little more exciting.

I’ve seen on Twitter that we will apparently be getting a new arrangement for the opening theme, the first time it’ll have changed since 2009 if true.
Nothing will ever match the short lived and iconic jazz theme from 1993 |

It's been circling a while but it seems to be BS. If there is any element of truth, it's not going to be a notable change, not like the 1993 theme. The last thing the show needs is backlash and that's what a new theme would bring. Don't fix what ain't broke.

I'd say so too but don't underestimate Jon Sen Loving the 2008 episodes atm *.* Bianca was rougher than I thought though This post has been edited by Andrew.: 3rd July 2020, 12:05 AM |

Very true, Andrew. It will probably be muffled to help us sympathise with Ben.

!! The 'CALLUMMMMMMMM' sound from when he was trapped in that warehouse or whatever will be replacing the duff duffs, the show needs to be brought into the 2020s

Next week’s classic episode is a trip back to the grand ol year of 2019, but it is the Walford Pride episode so we’ll allow it
Ngl I’m looking forward to revisiting Queen Zainab tomorrow |

I wish we’d gotten more Shabnam clips.
A 2019 episode? And Ben and Callum? I feel like giving next week a wide berth as none of that appeals. Between Classic EE and 2008 EE, I feel thoroughly SPOILT. Little Sonia in one and little Abi in the other. ICONIC. |

I sort of wish we’d gotten both episodes from 2010 tonight but what can we do! It was great to see Libby, Chelsea, Minty, Darren, Tamwar etc and them talking about Archie’s death *.*

Will probably give tonight’s a miss seeing as it’s such a recent episode.
Next Tuesday however, we head back to 1998 and an episode which focuses on Pat & Peggy following an accusation that Pat and Frank are having an affair |

Tonight’s does seem a bit poo given it was barley a year ago. I guess Bernadette will get more screen time tonight than she’s had altogether since that episode first aired.
Last nights Secrets from the Square wasn’t as lame as I thought it would be but still not amazing just Looking back on a 2 year period. Pumped for Denise and Kim next week tho. |

One thing I had forgotten was how awful that Kat vs Stacey custody or Arthur story was. I can’t even remember how it was resolved.
