1.What era of Take that do you prefer? Old or new and if so why?
2. Does your love of the band come with the feeling of Nostalgia? Or is it a love with the new music they bring? 3. If a new fan what made you start listening to their stuff? |

Can we make this thread just about "It Only Takes I Minute Girl" as I really like this, especially the dance influence in the production!

I prefer the newer material, mainly because I was a baby/not born the first time round so I didn't get to experience in the same way as I did when I was older for their comeback. I like the music from both eras though. I also have a bias towards recently released music so that explains it too.

Although, I’m interested to see what they do with some of the older music in their greatest hits package.
Gary has said they have completely redone Pray and Sure as two examples. Will be intriguing to hear. |

I'm surprised they have redone Pray as that was the only song from Everything Changes that charted all over the world and this remained the case until Back For Good came out in terms of their songs which reached all continents.
I'd be interested to hear it though as they could do various things with the song same as Sure. Sure charted well Asia, Europe and Oceania however it didn't in Africa or North/South America unlike Pray which did so can see why they would want to re-imagine the song. Sure also sounds very of it's time and American New Jack Swing. |
