Godsmack Aiming for Sixth Top 10 Album on Billboard 200

Billboard (August 8th, 2014):

"Rock band Godsmack seems set to secure its sixth top 10 album on the Billboard 200 chart next week with its new album 1000HP. Industry forecasters suggest the set, which was released on Aug. 5, could sell around 50,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Aug. 10.

Meanwhile, up at the top of the chart, there is a battle brewing for No. 1 between the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1 soundtrack and the new Now 51 compilation. Both albums could sell around 95,000 to 100,000 copies.

Rock act Spoon is also aiming for the top 10, as its new They Want My Soul might sell around 30,000. Another album that is flirting with a top 10 debut is The Vamps' debut EP, Somebody To You. The new U.K. pop band's set could shift around 20,000."

Oh cool, The Vamps showing they have a pretty strong fanbase too. Their album could go #1 whenever they decide to release it.
