Are there any shows you love that were not exactly super popular and therefore people here (or anywhere) are less likely to know about them?

SHARE.

The main old gem of mine is probably Dead Like Me. INSANELY good. But no one really knows about it sad.gif

I'm a massive fan of Showtime dramedies (SHOWTIME SHOULD HAVE ITS OWN TOPIC BY THE WAY), so Dead Like Me is obviously on my to watch list. Probably after I'm done with Californication.

I remember liking Persons Unknown. It's pretty... unknown but it was a great summer series. So was Harper's Island (starring Katie Cassidy and Christopher Gorham as bride and groom wub.gif)

The Lost Room was a great limited series and has developed a bit of a cult fanbase, but still not many people know about it. There was supposed to be a comics continuation, but it's been put on hold indefinitely. Peter Krause and Juliana Margulies (who I didn't know at the time) star. heart.gif both of them!

Greek and Reaper, not sure how many others here (no-one I knew watched them) have watched them but I loved both!

I know neither of them are considered "old" but they are definitely gems. laugh.gif

Greek brings back a lot of memories. It was so fresh and I loved all the characters. I definitely recommend it.

omg I haven't finished Persons Unknown haha. Don't remember shit from the episodes I watched so would have to restart it then oops.

I remember how popular Harper's Island was here actually ohmy.gif And when the final two episodes were supposed to be out and we would find out who the killer is... omg I remember that day so well for some reason laugh.gif

Just watched The Lost Room earlier this year. Pretty damn good! I love mini series like that!

I used to stay up most of the night watching it. All after catching the last 10 minutes of a random episode on E4 a few years ago! laugh.gif

My present to myself for finishing my exams was the complete box set of Veronica Mars, movie included. I'm currently on Disc 2 of Season 2 and I'm living for it. Such a brilliant show.

It's always been on my radar I could just never be bothered filling in the gaps between what I had and hadn't seen. Downloading was just too much effort, especially after Isohunt shut down and with my slow internet.

Importing felt like effort. The movie really kickstarted my interest in the show and motivated the purchase.

'Harper's Island' <3 So good (bar the ending! Bleh!)

I'm currently making my way through 'Veronica Mars' too (mainly for the film also! haha) but I am so bloody glad I watched it! Absolutely brilliant. Season 3 is disappointing and it's not hard to see why it was cancelled, but the kickstarter campaign for a movie was perfect for it!

Firefly. Greatest half-season TV show ever.

The Best Of The West sitcom unavailable since early 80's

Space: Above And Beyond and Earth2 and Strange Luck, 3 great obscure 90's scifi/fantasy series

and many more...
