AJ seemed to be on a downwards trend with the tracks from the deluxe version of the album (and Kiss And Tell) not making much impact but I think the success of Rain and his feature on the Live Lounge track alongside the charity angle should boost this into becoming another hit for him.
The song does sound massive with the Nighcrawlers' sample. Probably my favourite of his for a while. With a large amount of songs potentially going to ACR who knows how high this can get next week. Hopefully MoStack's verse won't get cut down this time

Lazy from Steel Banglez & The Elements to sample 'Push The Feeling On' in songs released 2 days in a row though (Mist & Fredo's 'House Party' also samples it if you haven't heard it yet.
most dance tracks using well-known samples/being covers is bad enough... rap artists doing the same is as bad...
cannot they write their own melodies?
He’s following Headie One by sampling those 90s club bangers
He really went from Psych Out/Butterflies/Ladbroke Grove to....this.
This basically just sounds like a better version of 'Floss' (which I thought was decent but not a highlight of his discog, the new songs on his deluxe album were all a bit middling at most really) - a fun throwaway bop, I wasn't sure what to expect with the sample but I think it's utilised fairly well, glad this is looking like being a bigger hit for him after the underperformance of 'Kiss And Tell' ~
'Push the Feeling On' is one of my fave songs ever so I'm very much here for this kinda-resurgence, this definitely does it better than the new Mist/Fredo track too; unfortunate timing on their part lol.
ooh LOVE this. it's mostly down to the sample but can't deny it!
Yep enjoying this! At least the sample isn’t just an exact copy and actually has some subtle changes to it rather than just literally rapping over the top of the original dance version which was what I was expecting initially
Giving another listen to the MIST song with the same sample, it's quite astonishing how they both take the same general idea and yet this version ended up sounding infinitely better - MIST's version just has no energy to it at all, it even makes the sample sound dull somehow! Good thing this is the version the public has rightfully latched onto.
It is indeed a lot better than the MIST/Fredo track.

This also gave AJ his 2nd top 10 as lead credit this week, debuting at #8.
If Rain would have been 1 place higher this week it would have been back-to-back-to-back AJ Tracey to start the top 10 with his verse on the Live Lounge track in the middle.
