Ordered a few more old ones that I felt were essential in one way or another... (thank you Snake for some of your suggestions ) Chic - Good Times Blondie - Heart of Glass Tubeway Army - Are Friends Electric Talk Talk - It's My Life Tears For Fears - Pale Shelter Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene Kraftwerk - Computer Love / The Model Visage - Fade To Grey Erasure - A Little Respect Desireless - Voyage Voyage Yazoo - Don't Go / Situation Bronski Beat - Small-town Boy Propaganda - The Nine Lives of Dr Mabuse Prince - 1999 / Little Red Corvette Flock of Seagulls - I Ran (not sure whether this quite counts really but I like it!) For early 80s songs it's maybe stretching the definition of dance a bit but I just remembered Joe Jackson Steppin' Out, one of the ultimate early 80s high tempo synthpop tunes. 6Music are having a 90s day tomorrow from 5am: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/schedules/bbc_6music/2021-04-15 - nothing but 1990s all day. Yeah they may play some indie stuff but they do play a lot of alternative dance sometimes, and I would hope they at the very least play Livin’ Joy’s “Dreamer”.

Dreamer's maybe a bit cheesy for Radio 6Music I would have thought. |

Thank you for the heads up! Still working at home so I'll put it on in the background *.* No worries- I'm in the office again tomorrow but as it's just me I can have the volume on the sound system as loud as I want! Although the downside to that is having to run over to turn it down everytime the phone rings or completely missing someone walking in to the office. If you're up early Shirley Manson is doing a mix at 7am and it looks like there'll be a Rage D&B playlist at 10am: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000vbjr : ) Dreamer's maybe a bit cheesy for Radio 6Music I would have thought. I'm not even dignifying this with a response. |

So I’m ready to expand into disco now but I’m not at all knowledgeable about the genre, albeit I do enjoy quite a lot of the music when I hear it
